Okay, I feel dirty.

My friend has another friend who either figured out on his own or used a mod of some sort to modify and create weapons. I now have a rocket launcher that fires like a machine gun and doesn't stop until you switch weapons, an automatic sniper rifle with maxed out damage that kills any enemy in the game in one shot, and an automatic shotgun that cycles through elemental effects.

Oh who am I kidding of course I am.

Not that I'm trying to be hardcore gamer talking about how every game in the history of ever is supposed to kick your ass and blah di blah di blah, but why would you do that? I guess I just don't see the fun in taking out every bit of difficulty in the entire game. :/

There's already a gun that does that elemental cycling too

But yeah, that would kill a bit of the fun for me to have win buttons

Maybe it was because I focused on Brick's tank tree when solo playing and could shrug off the explodoturds..but I found Mothrakk stupidly easy. Just kinda stood in place and plinked away with an explosive shotgun. He is big enough to where even a large spread will get a good number of hits, really.

Basically because I already beat both the playthroughs, got to level 50, and logged into a game today with my friend who proceeded to drop a mountain of weapons in front of me and said, "Hey! Check these out!" He's also in the process of creating custom class mods.

Is Siren's Phase Strike broken on all platforms? Mainly curious about the 360 version.

I've read the fix came out, but I currently don't have Live. Just wondering if I should wait to invest time into a Siren.

Yeah but after having bloodwing basically ripping multiple enemies to shreds 5 or 6 times a go with only his 2 second cooldown, the turret would just seem like a step down. It'll really take some getting used to, though I suppose Rolands extra buffs will make up for it. And I agree with Mothrakk, fucker was insanely hard. Best way I found with Mord was hide right next to a large boulder + 3 shot burst machinegun. The boulder actually offers some great defense, because it forces Moth to fly right over you in order to get you in his line of sight, by which point he's already right over you and can't attack, so he has to circle around for another pass and leaving him wide open to attack.

I still died once though.

This probably explains how the most powerful weapon I've seen came into being; it was on a youtube video, some dude with a cobalt volcano (high powered sniper with 4x fire), only this one had an 18 round mag and +10000 fire rate. Basically it emptied the entire mag in a single busrt, then immediately reloaded. He took out the ultimate Rakk Hive in about 20 seconds. Stupid modders.

Hmm, these problems along with a lack of built in trade function sounds an awful lot like the things Phantasy Star Online suffered from.

Here's to hoping that they will release a trading patch.

Well there is DLC coming, so maybe that will have it. Also more storage space and bigger arenas/more arena game options. That's what I'm hoping for.

That would give players the reason to keep farming better weapons once they've maxed their character in playthrough 2 then, to take them into the PvP side like any good FPS has.

Just got the game saturday and I'm already enjoying it. There are only a few things about it that irk me, such as not being able to sell ammo (I've been maxed out on combat rifle and shotgun ammo since about lvl 5, and that's the ammo I find 70-80% of the time).

Overall, though, it's a really fun game.
