Hey look, Squeenix is giving Japan an exclusive character. Source is Famitsu.


Looks like she's got a Distant Glory story mode akin to Shantotto and Gabranth, naturally. It'd be nice if Lightning were able to be introduced as some sort of DLC for those of us outside of GRORIOUS NIPPON, but the likelihood of either that or UT being released internationally are probably quite low.

Also, is anyone else around here but me even still playing this?

If i got this right, this is coming for the PSP, not the PSPGo... well, it's a proper way to push another round of Dissidia AND Final Fantasy 13 in Japan, so i guess it makes sense...

On the other hand... fuck.

Now, really, why they do this? Why Squeenix thinks this won't sell enough to justify itself outside of Japan??

You act like this was the first time it happened. Let's see, X-2, XII , KH1 and KH2...I think X had one too. I'm not even sure which one is the biggest offender.

Also POS, my last clock count stopped at 150 hours. I had to stop because my charger died.

I got over 250 hours clocked in the Japanese and American games combined. I'm trying to get every single skill of Squall mastered. It's taking some time.

For real. I'm actually hugely impressed that he went to all the trouble of making a full Lightning model and, from what I can tell, hacking it into the ISO to take the screen shots. Really some A+ effort there. Good show, hoax guy!

EDIT: Okay, maybe not quite to that length. Some of the ones he didn't put out were pretty obvious photoshops.

I'm also a bit disappointed overall just because a badass melee fighter chick that don't take no crap from nobody is probably the most obvious thing this game is missing.

Yeah, I've got 209 hours, myself. Anybody got Xlink Kai? I've got an adapter for it on its way, but I wouldn't mind having some folks available other than the Dissidia Forums people to play against.
