Your Idea of a Good Day
 

What's your idea of a good day?

For me, a day spent on this here forum, with a warm quilt, and a huge suply of Ginger Ale/Root Beer/Five Alive/All of the above, a dozen Macadamia nut cookies from subway, and some old Star Trek, My TV and PS2 set up right next to the computer so that I'm able to quickly switch between Kingdom Hearts and the computer, and I'm happy as can be! :)

How 'bout y'all?

A day with a g/f with no fighting is a good day. :)

Hangin with my g/f, playing video games, sippin back coca-cola, eating pizza, and playing Calvinball on this forum. Ya.

One in which I don't die.

That, or being with a bunch of my friends at the card shop I visit. We'll play M:tG, the Settlers, or Risk, or screw around on the owner's PS2 (the owner is a ludocrisly awesome guy). A lot of fun overall.

On internet, talking on this forum. And a new/good video game. Actually, it takes less than that. I'm easily pleased.:p

Any day where I am not stabbed or set on fire (Not likely to happen, but I never want it to).

Then you must be a very happy person.

Is it just me, or are most of us pathetic vegetables that enjoy the simple life?

I'm not a veggie, I just act like one.

The simple life? If by the simple life you mean anything involving you not moving much and high-tech equipment, then yes. However, I do not believe that is the definition of "the simple life." Said "simple life" would be someone who lives out in the country and works on a farm, doesn't watch tv, use a computer or other high-tech device. The Amish live the quintessintial "simple life" because their lives are not cluttered with such trivial details that ours are, or with the non-stop drone of "civilized life."

A good day for me would be where I ploy through fifty or so pages of my story with no errors at all, then plough through 100 pages of my autobiography, get fifteen articles written for my website, my mother gets in a car-wreck because she drives like she deserves to be in one, all anime becomes free, same with video games, my PS2 gets fixed, I get in a fight, I win that fight, I get a girlfriend, said girlfriend isn't one of them dirty types, I learn the ability to form my spiritual energy into some kind of offensive weapon, time simply stands still for me to get everything done, and I don't wake up from the dream. That's my good day.
