sorry for the confustion but I ment favorite played peice

and my band has a euphonium it is a tener not a bass so it does goes medium high and can read treble or bass clef (so trumpets can switch eazier)

No kidding, eh!? A good friend of mine plays the euphonium yet every uninformed person who sees him play says "Play something out of your baritone" or "Mini Tuba". It pisses him right off. But at my school, people aren't to intelligent anyways. I play the Trumpet and they say they're gonna sabotage my Tuba. Dumbasses.

Royalspork 05-05-2004 08:06 PM

speaking of that how bout the people who say drumming so eazy
"uh..ya I can play drums 1.....2......3......4" dumbasses

Although it may be, I'm talking about the one in english. And I know what your talking about. A kid in my class joined band last year (gr. 10) and was completly lost. Now he's fairly good on bass drum. But he's a killer guitarist. For the rest of you, see Mr. Hollands Opus.

Have you ever seen a small selection of text that was underlined, assumed it was a link, and clicked on it?

I have! Did it a few minutes ago..

Other than doing music on the comp, I used to take guitar lessons at school... that was in, like, Grade 4 though, and I never liked the guitar too much, strings were too fiddly

The keyboard though... I've always wanted to be able to play a rhodes piano, they're cool

Instrument (vocals and songwriter are ok too):

Wow, I'm the second Euphonist here *is mildly surprised* Do I get points for defining my own instrument? I could c&p the 4 page article from I think it's David Werden's website. I'm taking a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Secondary Ed, so I suppose you could list me as being a conductor (stick waving monkey) as well.

Band your in (type of band too):

I currently play in the University of Calgary Wind Ensemble (I'm section leader and serve on the ensemble executive), one of the premier wind ensembles in North America under the direction of Dr. Glenn D. Price. We currently have 7 recordings available on 3 different commercial labels. Other bands I've played in are the University of Calgary Symphonic Band under the Direction of Dr. Mark Hopkins, the Alberta Wind Symphony under the direction of Dr. Robert W. Rumbelow, and the St. Mary's High School Wind Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Don Barrette. I take private lessons from Micheal Eastep, principal tubist of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and have played in masterclass for Pat Sheridan.

greatest achevment(sp):

Getting into the UCWE ;)

do you like the idea of a Nuklear power forum band:

Sure, just pay my travel and lodging expenses.

Favorite peice of music:

Mars.

Amount of time you have played your instrument:

6 years now.

Instrument (vocals and songwriter are ok too): I could do background vocals, or second voice(I don't know if it's called like that.). I haven't got the clearest voice of them all though.

Band you're in (type of band too): No band, none of my classmates feel like it.

greatest achievement: Not available

do you like the idea of a Nuklear power forum band: Yeah, but there's that point again. When could we meet?

Favorite peice of music: I like Suteki Da Ne(Rikki(sp?)/Nobuo Uematsu), Real Emotion(Nobuo Uematsu), To Zanarkand(guess?) and My band(D12 & Eminem.)

Amount of time you have played your instrument: I don't know, 4/5 years, but I've never followed classes in the subject or stuff.
