Ok, for serious:

I've been a mod and an admin on other forums, but this is the place I've always been at. This place, for a lot of us including me, is a second home. Even though I'm not actively posting constantly, I still read topics and enjoy watching discussions unfold. I've been a part of this place since EZ boards, and I (speaking for myself but probably echoing others) just want to give something back to a place that's comforted me, put up with me, laughed with me, yelled with me and has been there for me for what...10 years now? (jesus I'm old)

Despite the drama, the crazy, the fights, the flame wars, this place will always be a part of my life. While some people have moved on, I and others have stayed.

So yea, this has been a post I've been wanting to make for a while, I just didn't think a whole new thread was needed. I don't want this post to in any way make you think I'm just fishing for compliments or votes for modship. I just wanted to say thanks, thanks to you guys for making this place fun and for giving me a place to come home to when my real home feels a little cold.

Man did I kick every person on this forum's puppy or something? Even Fifth had to go out of his way to explain why I'm totally not a horrible person.

That said, if you speak ill of me one more time, I will go to the animal shelter and get you a kitty cat. I will let you fall in love with that kitty cat. And then on some dark, cold night I will steal away into your home and punch you in the face.
