If it was me I'd keep the code around on a notepad or something and paste it in when needed. ^_^

And no, I doubt Buddha or any committed Buddhists are involved in that site. :I

Edit to avoid overposting: Now I want a shirt that says "This shirt is a lie".

BitVyper 12-06-2009 06:52 PM

Shirts don't lie, IQ. Shirts don't lie.

Kung Fu Panda, because there is no charge for awesomeness or attractiveness.

One would hope the fuck not, considering it blinds people.

It's a Synkripoffvatar, so I gotta use the drop down menu twice to format everything I type, which is a real pain when you're splitting up a quote. Also, I can't use quick reply because one of the buttons you don't get when quick replying is the font button. Took me a while to get used to it, I'd have to go edit most of my new posts right after I made 'em.

Quick Reply is terrible. Also, taking the time to properly format your post, even when quoting causes you to break it up, shows that you are willing to take posting semi-seriously. Even when you aren't.

Also it may become a habit that you just can't stop. I am being serious. I suggested, for Halloween, that we moderators "dress up" as each other for the day. Fifth and I discussed the likelihood that I'd still red-text and set Tahoma on all of my posts and have to edit them after posting.

That's not really any quicker, to be honest. And now that it is a deeply-ingrained part of how I post, time is no issue.

And, uh, I guess my avatar means I like her and that I was watching/reading a lot of Bleach when I hunted for a good image. Then I can insert here the idea that she's a person of much authority who is scarcely seen but still very influential, like me! Also I am a super-fast ninja who can turn into a cat.

I'm actually impressed with the dedication you've put into it at this point you should totally holler at Fenris to green up your name.

Know what would be interesting? A Greasemonkey script that adds a personalized button for your custom post format to the post menu, just like there's bold and italics buttons.

That being said, I have no idea how to do that.

There are always things like extentions and plugins to make things easier.

Kim 12-07-2009 06:17 PM

And it's just plain fun.

Re Synkripoffvatars: I've actually been thinking I might just switch up my avatar now so that I'm less of a Synk/Numsie ripoff, but stick with a blue theme in the avatar, and keep my text formatting. I don't know what, but something about needing to do those two little clicks is kinda nice, and I do like that my posts stand out a little more now.

My new avatar is a message to Nonsie. <3
