It scares me how long he must've spent trying to so perfectly match the background colour. It's almost obsessively overworked, but all the more awesome for it.

It's not perfectly matched guys. Like I said, I can actually read that (#131313) on the background (#111111) on my monitor. It looks bold (even though it's not) and slightly blurry.

I can see it. Looks like you lightened it up a bit from what it was originally though. He was just under the impression that it was perfectly matched, and thought that must've taken a lot of work. I was just letting him know that, no, background color is pretty much common knowledge at this point. And that you're lazy.

Nope. Same color. It probably helps you see it better now you know what is there and where to look.

I throw invisible text into my posts all the time with 111111. I also use the title tag. I appreciate the variety of ways we can add snarky comments to posts on this forum.

I think we are sorely lacking a Comic Sans MS Magenta poster to inspire fear and anxiety among the masses. I am merely demonstrating the terror that it would invoke; I'm not sure if I could do this for all my posts. But I barely post anyway, as I am the Uber-Lurk. *shrug*
