What are you doing here on Christmas?
 

I'm sure there's a few of us here like myself that are going to be sitting here on our butts and browsing NPF and the internet while most other people are off with their family's.

For whatever reasons, what are you doing here on the forum instead of opening presents and being with family?

Trying to catch santa who shot down my virtuaroids.

that and drawing an X-mas pick.

Well it's only 1:30 am for me and because of dental work my mouth is so sore it makes it really hard to sleep so.... I'm kind of just browsing the internet hoping to get tired enough to sleep through it.

In the morning it's family time though! I'm praying my mouth decides not to make Christmas painful. XD;

The part of my family I'm Christmasing with tomorrow this morning live about 4 miles away from me. And they're not opening presents until 8 or so, and I'm all like I don't want to oversleep so screw sleep for tonight.

Besides it's fucking snowing outside and I'm too giddy to get any real sleep. And the NPF is providing me with amusement between batches of playing Dwarf Fortress and getting lost in TV Tropes.

It's currently 10:30ish on Christmas Eve, and I'm sitting here at work. I'll be here tomorrow too. But at least I'm getting holiday pay. Yay for holiday pay! Boo for having to actually be here in order to GET said holiday pay! XD

Well, right now I'm preparing the rituals that will allow me to summon the obscene eldritch horrors that will make my lovely new purple iPod nano work. If you're on a somewhat iffy 56k connection like I am, this procedure is rather tricky and very time-consuming.

I just finished months of on-and-off, mostly off, questing on Perfect World, only to realize to my horror that I may have screwed up the quest before I even got a chance to really start it. I'm currently hoping for a reply/GM fix, but I'll probably go to sleep and check back in the morning.

My highest-level character may have to be turned into a mule account if I can't get a fix for this. I JUST upgraded her bank storage capacity and really just had everything finally come together on her. It may really suck if I can't get help.

That said, I'mma probably just check back on it in the morning.

I'm from one of those weird countries where we celebrate and get presents on the 24th and do nothing at all on the 25th.
I'm also one of those trendy no-presents athiest [sic] guys. But my family is still part American, so I guess I'll go downstairs now.

Mentally preparing myself for a big "this-has-been-coming-for-years" fight with my mom.

Also, I don't like Christmas that much
 

In Finland we do exactly same thing, and I would bet that we copied it from you guys. We're nation of copycats after all. And honestly, we have loaned so much from Germany during the years. But we are not giving anything back, suckers!

Also, killing time, killing time. Sad actually, but that's the way it's. I'm here for the same reasons as always. :/
