Final Fantasy - 5d6cussion
We've needed a new thread for a while now.
Things to note: Armor creation or purchasing unique armor will have to be dealt with on an individual basis. The book doesn't really go well into that, after all, and I don't want to decide on something that might bite me in the ass later. Meanwhile, Notorious has already affected the taller guard's impression of Caspin. Just not in a good way. Also, trying to intentionally do the improbable could certainly work out in your favor, though failing it could also prove disastrous. At the same time, for certain actions there just aren't enough dice in the world. |
I got yer Mr. Prick right here!

Caspin is a quitter! Nah but this seemed a good a time as any to pull him out of the scenario. I'll be around till about January 2nd, but if there are any loose ends still sticking out after that just imagine him ignoring folks and walking off into possible death.

So that leaves Group 1 at three member (I don't recall Naquel joining)?
This won't end well. |

Hey, guys, is it cool if I just write something like "Bello did such-and-such, details details details, he got his new equipment and made some checks concerning Prassad" and cover all Bello's time pre-meeting at the stables? I assume no one else is going to be hanging out with him in Ilium and I'd just as well cover his independent activities in one post. Just checking that I'm not stepping on any toes in doing so.
Also, I just watched Menarker's videos. Bello is a story-teller, not a mutant freak-baby. |

This story's actually probable! And I have a few contingencies for obvious questions like, oh, how clean we are. So, if everything does work out, I should be able to get Ark into the city as well. I'm just a little concerned that one of them has Straight-Arrow or whatever trait lets them sense falsehood. That would suck. |
Seriously, you all saw that picture, right? Dude's pom-pom is HUGE.

Since I thought of this crap during my pointless errand today, I thought I'd share a little about Bello's proposed tales.
"The Tragedy of Poltrick, Prince of Prontera:" A tale of murder, lies, and existential angst. It has ghosts and swordfights, so it's pretty popular everywhere. There's even a Galkan translation. "Exdeath Went Down to Gyshal:" A song that was popular a few years ago. A young chocobo-herder has to defeat Exdeath in a chocobo whistle contest or he'll erase all existence. Most people know the chorus. A favorite for drunken reveling. "Jakkoko and the Goblins:" An original work by Bello. A young Tarut and his sister are assailed by goblins, and he rescues her by disguising himself as a goblin. Bello has been working on this for a while, and people seem to enjoy stories about goblins being stupid and gullible. He recently changed the damsel in distress to the hero's sister instead of his friend to make his motivation more simple. Driving time for me is "Let's flesh out Bello" time, and I do a lot of driving. |
