Happy New Year!
Well, we Australians are all crazy, and thanks to the wonderful time difference I have the privilege of creating the first New Year's thread. We had a German Party and watched the Australian government waste thousands of dollars on things that go "Bang" very prettily. The new decade is currently two hours old, and I'm feeling very contented.
Though I'm apprehensive at the fact that this is likely to be the only sober post in this thread... |

Now it's eight hours for me too. And I'm going to be sober. Though I might get high on caffeine and dugar.
Question: Do the party begin before midnight or at midnight, or does it "take off" at midnight, as the kids say? |

Edit: And I'll try to remember to show up at some point. Throw a rock and you hit 4 laptops these days. |
11 hours for me. Considering I am on prescribed painkillers, it would probably be a good idea for me to stay sober.

as of the writing of this post it's 16:30 over here and i'm set for the beach at midnight where we get to see the fireworks of 3 cities at the same time!
Also Cod Salad and Turkey for diner and Cake for dessert! |
10 1/2 hours and I'll be spending the evening with the good Captain. :D
