Greatest Moment/Feeling of Accomplishment
 

What is that one single moment where you feel on top of the world and can accomplish anything?

Mine is that perfect race. I had one today. I run the 2 mile and I lead the entire race until the last lap. I let one kid ahead of me. Everyone was screaming at me to pass him but I was like no not yet I gotta wait. We came to the last stretch and I took off. I was at the 100 and he was already at the 50. The crowd was going nuts. Like a 100 ppl were screaming my name it was intense and that screaming gave me that extra push. I caught up with him at the 30 and passed him at the 20 to win the race. The moment I sprinted ahead while everyone was screaming is so satisfying. I just eat that stuff up. haha It was really cool in that I wasn't expecting anything cause I've been so damned exhausted. I was just having fun with the race. I was counting each lap like the Count of off Sesame Street. 6 laps yes 6 laps to go hahaha. It's so fun. lol So what's everyone else's moments of glory.

One that I felt? Beating Alma in Ninja Gaiden. Now that was hard.

In the future? Scoring a goal in a locrosse game. If only I could this year, but I doubt it's going to happen.

Hmmm... probably when I finished high school. I just felt amazing, like life was perfect and everything would be smooth sailing from there. Of course it's 7 months later and I don't have a job yet. Well, I sometimes go out to work with my dad but yeah.

Wrestling a 189 pound guy in a High School Tournament and whupping his ass. I'm only 170, this guy had almost 20 pounds on me.

Find out I wasn't the worst n00b the forums ever faced. That was a good feeling.

Realizing more people know me than I expected. That and having a good run on a game. Just plain old kickin' some ass!

Alright. I doubt anyone here will sympathize. Mine is when I sing. Specifically, when I am in a performance singing. I am a voice major, and as such I sing classical music almost exclusively. I love it. There is no better feeling than standing on stage, filling an entire concert hall with nothing more than your pipes. As exciting as it is to play an instrument outside of your body (piano, etc) its even more invigorating when it comes from inside YOU. (that was both a physical and an emotional reference =) ). Its just such a joy, and so satifying afterwards. :)

edit: I love more than opera/classical voice. I'm a big fan of any and all rock music, for that matter, pretty much everything but disco and polka. >__<

Being at my Eagle Court of Honor. Nothing like the culmination of 13 years of my life (Tiger Cubs to Eagle Scout) by holding a prestigious award in my hand, my family and friends in the audience, my parents on either side of me.

Probably when I was sat atop the stairs at my fiancee's house, a day before she expected me, three days before christmas. Being there signified a promise kept for over a year.

When she walked in the door she said 'Oh my god.' and ran into the next room. Then she came back, came upstairs. We held each other.

I have never felt better.

When I got accepted to college. Actually...When I realized that I was gonna make more money than anyone from my high school. Yeah...the second one.
