Because I don't think many of us have played or know anything about D&D. The basis of my RPGs is what I make up.
Jaguar... You didn't even read the entire first page, idiot. |

Hmmm... I seem to be losing this argument... time to prove that you dont exist. Thats what I do whenever I lose any argument.
So when we starting this thing. |

Shadowrun is my bread and butter. My favorite RPG, both in it's universe and in it's rules. Where cyborg ninja, superhuman kung-fu warriors, fireball throwing mages, and hackers of an entire virtual world can all meet up and blow some enemies to bits for some Nuyen. |
This starts when I get around to starting it, and when I make my character.

(Repeating earlier question)
What exactly does the code of honor imply in this RP? And I suddenly have this irrational urge to make a monk...(DAMN YOU BULLETPROOF MONK!) |
1) Bulletproof monk sucks.
2) It's your samurai, make up your own code of honor (Though I have to approve it). |
Code of honor rule one, no one shall cross my path without saying I am da pimp. If one does not, then i shall smite them for the dishonor they do me.

Okay, I shall use him au lieu of my sea captain...
His code of honor shall basically be... You may not strike the first blow (But you may block it) No killing in cold blood Do not flee unless given leave to (Someone has to tell him to before he will, and he'll be the last after that) Remember that your purpose is to aid others Save the innocent Show no mercy That stuff work? |
Show no mercy is very different then the rest of those...
"Well, you can't start the fight, or kill without a reason, and always help people, but in a fight cut off their arms then use those as swords to beat off their legs till they are a bleeding torso and sit there watching them die." |

How I could twist a code of honor for if I were playing a black paladin...

So, uh....what are the armies going to consist of? (How many, what they are, who is allied with who, and leaders other than us)
|
You will know what when I start this (Meaning, I'm going to make it up as I go along).
|
Oh, ok, just wondering
|
Ah crap, forgot about this.
Anyone want to go back and list who has joined while I write the first post and my character? Side note, you all start together on a team. |
Demon- Undead "Shard"
Otaku On - ??? Not sure ... An H-Perv, I would assume ... JADGuy - Ogre "Yama" S.S. - Human "Ken" Gato - Orc "Barashkukor" Joe Pandora - Human "Sabtor" Kain - Elf "Kethanas" Dante - Blood Elf "Kelen" Elminster - Humanoid Dragon "Zakanf" Jaguar - Troll "Kharas" That's 10 people so far. |
I'm also trying to think up something...but I'm busy with a 1/4-of-my-grade english project, so I'll try and fit the thinking in there somewhere.
|
Hope it isn't too late to join up...I'd have posted something earlier but the access on weekends I get is taken up by the other RPs I'm involved in.
Name: Brayn D'halir Age: 22 Sex: Male Race: Human Class: Blademaster Magical Item: Sinseya, a magic sword passed down his line for generations. It is a mark that one of his forefathers did a great service for Dragons at one point in time. Items: Potion of Healing (1), Potion of Haste (1) Weapons/Armor: Sinseya, a Longsword imbued with magic energies that make it keener than most average blades. He also wears an old set of breastplate armor, but only the main section and the greaves - he's more interested in being able to move than being well protected. Appearance: Young and somewhat handsome, with long red hair and clear green eyes, he has the look of a great leader in the making. Don't let the boyish appearance fool you though - he has an edge harder than that of his weapon, and doesn't fool around in combat. Skills/Spells/Aura: Blademaster's Defense - Blademasters train themselves to the point where the sword is an extension of themselves, in every sense. This grants them the uncanny ability to deflect almost any blow or projectile attack that comes at them, as long as it isn't overpowering or from directly behind them. (Think Jedi and you'll have it about straight.) Blademaster's Presence - Blademasters are revered as excellent swordsmen and leaders. The mere presence of a Blademaster on the field of battle is enough to inspire courage in the rank-and-file, as well as to inspire fear in opponents that can feel it. The more powerful and well known the Blademaster, the more potent this effect becomes. Background Info: Abandoned at infancy by his mother, Brayn was raised by a Blademaster General of some renown, Master Eryn D'halir. Having only been left a sword when he was abandoned, Eryn trained him in the way of the Blade since he was old enough to hold a practice blade. This is why he has attained the level of Blademaster at such a young age - most do not achieve the full rank until at least 28 or 30. Quote: "If youth implies a lack of skill, then you must be younger than I..." Extra Notes: This is actually a character from a novel of sorts that I'm writing. If there's a problem, I can change things up a little. That is, if you'll let me join at all. Which I would most appreciate. :D |
