Uncommon Instrument Players Unite...?

Well, since there's been a recent rash of specific instrument-based threads, I thought I'd start one for all those who don't play everyday instruments. I'm not going to specifically say what a 'uncommon' instrument is, so if you feel like you play an underreppresented instrument, go ahead and post whatever you want about it.

For example:
I've played the accordion for 12 years. You may laugh, but accordions are more than just for polka. They're probably one of the most versitile instruments, just trailing behind electronic keyboards and the human voice itself. The accordion creates sounds through reeds, and by using different sets/combinations of reeds, can imitate various instruments such as the sax, clarinet, organ, oboe, bassoon, and more. This creates a large capability to play music that spans the orchestra. Unfortunately, there are few modern bands (with a moderate popularity) that have accordion players amongst them apart from Flogging Molly (that I know of).
For those of you who don't know how an accordion works, the wind for the reeds is obtained through constant pushing/pulling of the bellows. The keyboard side works like an everyday piano's keyboard, and the side with all of the buttons obtains bass chords with the press of 1-3 buttons (all arrranged in a nice little chord progression as you go up and down and the majors, minors, sevenths, and deminisheds as you go along the columns).
Personally, I enjoy playing music from videogames (working on main theme from FFVII right now), classic rock, oldies, and classical music. It's a unique instrument, and I enjoy playing it.

I use the sythesizer I have on my computer, and I'm curretly composing random notes to make a song.

I play Jazz Bass (that's said "base" for those of you that are musically ignorant). It is the coolest kind of bass ever. Except maybe electric funk, but that's hard as all hell to make sound good.

No more instrument threads after this one, okay?

I'm a bastard, I know.

I have a sudden urge to start a forum about instruments that people wish they could play...

I play the kazoo. It's harder than you think.

I can play the Orciana in OOT pretty well. I was able to play a couple of the Zelda theme songs and the Simpsons theme song on it in game. It was pretty funny and its a nice trick to amuse my friends with.

Jugs. They're harder to get a handle on then you think. And get your mind out of that gutter! I just cleaned that!

Seriously, anything that makes percussion sounds... And I used to be able to play glasses (you know, those partially filled with liquid that make different sounds when touched/clinked with a fork or some like object?) but it's been a long time.

Spoons. They have a quite nifty beat after you play them for a while.

I've been trying to learn how to play the harmonica, but I suck at it. I can play "Saints go marching in" pretty well, though.

I have an actual ocarina and I can play it. I don't play it for band or anything, but still.... It's pretty neat. It even looks like the one they have on Zelda, Ocarina of Time.

In the band I would like to form someday, I would hate to waste talent. I'd love to add anyone who can play any instrument, and incorporate them in the songs. I know two bands off the top of my head who did that. Catch 22, in a few songs, and Ska-P, with the accordion and banjo.

I'm not sure if the clarinet counts as unusual, but I'm a guy, so it is. I can bee-bop with extreme inaccuracy and drum annoyingly on almost any hard surface. I can also play my face and snap my fingers softly and rapidly.

its not a flute, its not a recorder, we're not sure what exactly to call it. its a black wood pipe with six holes in the key of C, and i've been annoying everyone to death by playing the chrono cross opening song over and over. hey now, sharps and flats are hard to do with just six random holes. so yeah, thats my little pride and joy: my pipe.
