Thread for complaining about the new semester.

Those of us in school are probably mostly back in the swing of things by now and know what we're dealing with.

Sadly, I'm not on the ball at the moment and got a nasty surprise with my course material. First off, if the bookstore had actually contacted me when they said they did, I would have had my Music Appreciation crap earlier. They didn't. Now I'm scrambling for a test on Tuesday to listen to and memorize several pieces of classical music.

The worst part?

The songs are all broken up into a million segments and labeled as the music on the 4th CD.

For the love of God, I paid like a zillion dollars for this crap and THIS is what I get? Thank God it came with a booklet saying the real tracks, so I'm stuck doing the math to figure out where one song ends and the next begins and ripping all this shit so I can rename it all.

On top of that, the sound quality is junk and I know it's not my speakers, because I've played tons of other stuff just fine. Not that it's so bad that I can't tell what's going on, but for stuff that came with a music appreciation book, you'd think it would be decent quality so it was actually nice to listen to.

So yeah, slash-rant, complain about your own school BS.

Finding fonding this semester is going to be a bitch. -_-

Remember kiddies, never take online classes using an out of date OS. It always comes back bite you in the ass and in the end you still fail despite this.

Blah blah Calc 2 blah blah Chem 210 blah blah Newtonian physics blah blah snoozefest.

Mine's not so bad if you keep up on the material, honestly.

In Finish highschool system we have YO. They're basically final exams which may help you get into university though it's not as important nowadays as it used to be as most universities have system where only half applicants are chosen how well they managed in YO and entrance test and the other half are choosen solely by entrance test.

But anyway this YO thing is starting tomorrow with one of the stupidest tests in Finnish school system and next Monday I will have English listenning. After those two I will have reading vacation. On 15th March YO's start again

Aaaaand after those silly YOs I should start reading books for the entrance tests.

But it's not hard. I'm just little bit too lazy so I can easily fuck up everything (not really though). : D

It's back to tutoring for me. I can't work out whether I'm the evil tutor or the nice tutor because I tend to yell at them all the time but on the other hand my side of the lab is always a well-oiled machie ad I get everyoe out at least 30 minutes before the other sides and people tend to ask me for questions more than others.
I must know how I am known!

If your chem 210 is the same as my chem 210 the answer is always k-space. Consider that a super tip.

I hate molecular genetics. Not so much the field of study as the course that goes by the same name at my Uni. It's so crappy.

I would complain about English Literature lectures but they've all been so boring that I haven't been able to stay awake long enough to learn anything to complain about.

My calc teacher teaches well, and he doesn't allow calculators on quizes/tests/exams, so the stuff he assigns for a grade isn't hard. He assigns problems from the book, though, and I don't get why, but math books are really convoluted and hard to get. the homework isn't required for a grade, but it's difficult. I don't feel like I know anything by them. but in the class, and on the midterm, I feel okay. So basically I'm trying to learn calculus 2 without the benefit of good practice. :/

My other too classes are alright, though. I understand what I'm doing, if nothing else.

Teachers teaching us to be teachers keep telling us to teach unlike old teacher lecture-style during their 4 hour long lectures.
