The whole cake thing just shattered my view of Black Mage into a thoussand tiny shards and rearranged it as a mosaik of letters, reading out "DUMB".

Same guy who was tricked by evil pie. And later asked about evil cookies or somesuch. And in a less pastry-related note, was distracted from his evil purpose with the datacube by the mention of mammaries. You expected BM to have a smart reasoning for anything he does (or anyone else in the comic)?
