Guess who' getting a PSP ( finally )?

Woo!

Okay, so, I'm making a list of games to get and I'd like some help with said list. So far:

- FFT war of the lions
- Dissidia
- whatever Monster Hunter game is the best
- Patapon
- Crisis Core

Any ideas?

That's your homework.

When it comes out you are legally obligated to get Persona 3 Portable.

Disgaea 2 is fucking awesome.

If you can forgive a game for being an old school dungeon crawler with goddamn archaic gameplay elements maybe check out Persona PSP.

Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero is a Your Mileage May Vary type of platformer. Maybe check it out.

There's a Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, which is somewhat entertaining; you might wanna check that one out. Also, there's a remake of the first Mega Man and Mega Man X games, though I strongly prefer the latter.

Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles. Rondo available in both classic and new and pretty modes? Hells yes. Also SotN is pretty good, though really easy seriously hold your hand nigh impossible to die easy and kinda clunky if you've played the later Metroidvanias. Especially if the last one you played was Ecclesia with it's streamlined goodness and difficulty ratcheted back to old school Castlevania levels.

The Persona 1 remake is pretty swanky too. If as NonCon said showing it's age.

Also if you can get the Playstation Store, download Vagrant Story that game is great.

And Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is coming out soon which looks amaaaazing. As a matter of fact you should get it and then send me it and your PSP for a week or something so I can play it.:sweatdrop

Valkyrie Profile. Period.

If you're into fighters Soul Calibur Broken Destiny is pretty solid, as it's basically just Soul Calibur 4, again, but on the PSP, with Kratos.

I was so apathetic I couldn't even review it.

I dunno about this game. I don't really hate it, and the gameplay was decent, but there are arbitrary and very extreme difficulty jumps, and when I was playing the plot didn't seem to be going anywhere. The whole thing just dragged on, and because there are so many damn party members none of them get decently characterized so I wasn't attached to them enough to force my way through the latest difficulty jump and just sent it back to Gamefly instead.

EDIT: I didn't know Vagrant Story was on the PSP Store but yeah get that that game rocks like a motherfucker.

Actually this is a good suggestion I have been playing the hell out of the demo So much so that I think i'm ready for a "No kill" run in the game (that's right I'm going to try to go through the game not killing anyone!...except asshat bosses and those "unavoidable" generic soldiers)
although the game is a little ...chunky in it's controls

I'll admit that some of the story characters only get so much since there's a huge link to the race to Armageddon. Doing this in the right order is heavily influenced. Hell, the story is disjointed because it's only a small snippet of each person's life then it's taken away. I kinda like that we get to see what makes the army tick and it's your choice how to power them up. Do well, your side does well in the end.

Thing is, you get them all back for the final battle and some of them are really powerful such as the swordie guy (name escapes me). Not a bad game for quick plays. But you can tell who the developers really liked.

This is seconded.
