Seems like Apple is getting touchy about their iPhone technology (buh-dum-CHISH!).

But seriously, what's so awesome about the iPhone/iPad touch screen that Apple is fussing about? I go to Japan for two years and come back and it seems like everyone and their mother has a touch screen phone nowadays.

After reading this, I'm not quite that surprised.

I am reasonably sure that every major cellphone manufacturer/designer is involved in a suit and/or countersuit with every other cellphone manufacturer.

I also think that Apple took a shot at Nokia a while back. Pretty sure it hasn't been resolved yet.

As to why? Money. Be it recouping R&D, keeping margins worthwhile, or just being greedy, it all comes down to money.

And I thought Bill Gates wanted to rule the world...

Maybe they're one and the same person.

Apple has been the usurper of the title 'big evil technology corporation' from Microsoft* for a while now.

It's only now that more people are starting to notice.


*And judging by the calls of "Windows 7 can't fail or Microsoft is finished" a while back, it looks like they're the underdogs now...
