It came from the Fridge

Ok lets talk about strange experiences with leftovers. Ya see i was feeling peckish so I went and grabed some leftover spaghetti from the fridge. It was in this small square container and when I dumped it out it stayed in exactly the same shape. It looked slightly like some of the pictures of brains that I have seen. I ate it any way though. I almost laughed when I saw this square hunk of brain like material sitting on the plate. So any of you have any strange leftover stories.

There's something weird in the fridge today
I don't know what it is
Food I can't recognize
My roommate won't throw a thing away
I guess it's probably his
It looks like it's alive...

And livin' in the fridge... livin' in the fridge
Livin' in the fridge... livin' in the fridge

There's something dross in the fridge today
It's green and growin' hair
It's been there since July
If you can name the object
In that baggie over there
Then mister, you're a better man than I

It's livin' in the fridge
You can't stop (dysentary) the mold from growin' (dysentary)
Livin' in the fridge
Can't tell what (dysentary) it is at all (dysentary)
Livin' in the fridge
You can't stop (dysentary) the mold from growin' (dysentary)
Livin' in the fridge

Tell me, do you think it should be carbon dated
Fumigated or creamated and buried at sea?
You try to save a little bit of you're home cookin'
Couple weeks later, got a scary-lookin' specimen
It always happens my friend
Again & again & again & again

Somethin' stinks in the fridge today
And it's been rottin' there all week
It could be liver cake or wooly mammoth steak
Well, maybe I should another peek...

Livin' in the fridge
You can't stop (dysentary) the mold from growin' (dysentary)
Livin' in the fridge
Can't tell what (dysentary) it is at all (dysentary)
Livin' in the fridge
You can't stop (dysentary) the mold from growin' (dysentary)
Livin' in the fridge
Livin' in the fridge
Don't know what it is, don't know what it is
Livin' in the fridge
Don't know what it is, don't know what it is
Livin' in the fridge
Don't know what it is at all
Livin' in the fridge, yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Good timing on the weirdal song.

Once we found some basketti in the back that was green O.o;

We never failed to clean out our fridge after that...

Well, I was attacked by a cup of yogurt, but it was relatively new, so I don't think it counts.

Would you believe I've seen a green lemon in the fridge before?

Let's just say my experiences with leftovers involve my roommate, some leftover hummus and a two week break in school. *shudders* I almost vomited from the smell.

Dante 05-09-2004 10:51 AM

What's hummus?

batgirl 05-09-2004 10:56 AM

It's crushed chick peas and some other stuff like spices and such. It's actually really good, but is VERY perishable.

Dante 05-09-2004 11:00 AM

Hmm, I see. Sounds like belacan (crushed chilli with various spices, tastes and smells awful, yet my parents devour it).

I feel your pain.
