Well, the Battle Frontier is pretty challenging in itself, as they don't let you use super-legendaries and every trainer you face has a team designed to defeat you and specifically you.

Turns out it's been recalled for the Netherlands and the Dutch-speaking area of Belgium, due to a programming flaw.

Melfice say what now? Since when did they start translating the games to Dutch? Oh, they haven't started doing that, you say? Then why are only the Dutch speaking areas affected?

This smells like they recalled it because a bigger market ran out and needed more. ¬__¬ Could be wrong, and there really IS a programming error, but it wouldn't explain why only the Dutch version (which is IDENTICAL to the English one aside from the packaging) is affected.

That's what we in the business call playing like a MAN.

EDIT: And it's nice to see that this game has managed to make me want to choke the shit out of Whitney and make a jacket out of her Miltank's skin all over again.

I never got why people hated Whitney so much. There's a cave full of rock types two towns before her. Graveller/Golem can fuck her shit right up.

Anyway, I'm leveling up, because while beating Red with a bunch of 40's, two 50's, and a level 7 Machop is fun, they won't do much competitively. As of now, my team is:

I've found a juvenile pleasure in nicknaming all appropriate Pokémon as Brokémon. There is a much bigger amount of these than one would expect, though they can get pretty rediculous. Brobroke, Brobro, and Broking are particularly cringe worthy. On the other hand, I quite like Articunbro and Zapdbros. Fuck Moltres.

Finally had that local level 25 tournament last night. I came away with second place...out of five. :p

General grumbling of traded Lapras' and Snorlaxes mopping up the place, but my Butterfree owned.
