Revealing darkness

Azeir stepped from the crevice which led to the Underdark he looked into the horizon. the hot sun stung his eyes and his piwafi began melting. It was common the drow uniform was meant for darkness alone, but he still possesed the fine edged blade Sonork's Bane and his two companions (I need two more people to come up with characters and names, classes etc.) they planned to travel the world, the justice where they were once from was unsatisfactory they would bring peace to the sword coast or die trying.

Okay, I'll save others the trouble and just quickly point this down...

1) We normally use sign-ups around here.

2) That's....that's about it.

I think he might be one of the DnD people who will never get what this RP forum is really about...

Static Hamster 05-09-2004 12:59 PM

I just got here too.

I am one of those DnD people who doesn't get what an RP forum is about.

I'm guessing there is no dice involved. Just character selection and story telling.

You should make a sign-up thread, and explain the story more...

Well, you don't seem to get what an RP forum is about, but that isn't 100% true. It is 99% about storytelling and writing skill, but if you join some RPs, there IS some dice rolling involved. But you can't be a bad RP/Writer and just rely on someone dice rolling, even in a Dice Rolling RP. Note: Most of my RPs have Dice rolling, and almost no one else has any dice rolling in thiers.

Static Hamster 05-09-2004 04:37 PM

So, wait, I'm 95% right? How do they work?

Like I already said, I never experienced them, I have heard of them though.

IHateMakingNames 05-09-2004 04:39 PM

I shall make a numbered list.

1) Do not be an idiot (99%)

2) Do not control other people's characters.

3) Listen to the creator of the RP

4) No god modding.

Darth SS 05-09-2004 04:43 PM

IHMN is pretty good at telling that stuff.

Another small thing is that there's often details in posts that are pretty easy to skip over. Be thorough when you read.

Static Hamster 05-09-2004 04:47 PM

Like....what's God Modding? And dealing with the utter disappointment of now being able to be an idiot.

My last 3 charcters were a singing barbarian named Jugs, a psychotic priestess who was based on Doree from Finding Nemo (her other half was like Black Mage), and a impoverished Monk named William Gates.

I don't think I could do serious if I tried.
