Is Steve Jobs Going To Be Cast As The Next Bond Villain?

On the right is Steve Jobs. On the left is Jonathan Pryce portraying Elliot Carver in the Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies. http://images.businessweek.com/ss/08...steve_jobs.jpg http://images.allmoviephoto.com/1997...ver_Di_150.jpg http://www.techdigest.tv/Announces%2...0a%20robot.jpghttp://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/m...7_1181536a.jpg ...So was Jobs the inspiration for Carver, or is it just a crazy coincidence? It might just be me, but there's something just... menacing about Steve Jobs. Anyone else get that vibe? Like... when he smiles it's as if he's smug because he's just fired starving orphans from Apples starving orphan division. In the flick, Pryce plays an evil head of a multinational cable network, not with world domination plans, but just the hope that his voice gets heard. And to make sure it gets heard, he starts manufacturing World War III between China and Britain so that after they create the story - by killing numbers of innocent people - they have the rights to the story. Jobs needs to face Pierce Brosnan and die by drill in the end. |
I think the important fallcy in this train of thought is the assumption that Steve Jobs isn't a Bond Villain already.
