A Video Game ID challange
 

Ok, found this challange. There's 56 games hidden in this image, and the challange is to identify them all.

I got 35 games here, and I wondered: What would NPF do on it?

And perhaps you all could help with some of the harder ones, like the cobra in the soup bowl. >_>

Really it's just a bunch of riddles, fun riddles, but most of em have nothing to do with the games at all.

That's the point of the exercise. It's naming the titles of the games with visual puns

Also, I've never heard of "Super Cobra" before.

Very old game. It's called that because it's about the helicopter of the same name. Only know it from Starcade, not even sure what systems it was on(ATARI?)

Edit: Yes, I know it's an arcade title, just know it was released on home too.

I had the solutions spoiled for me in the Tron thread, and I didn't count how many I got before that. Oh well.

I'm at 37 so far. My friend is at 48, and she doesn't even know half the games.

Wow, only 11...

I got 13 in 5 minutes, but that's probably the extent of my knowlege. I hadn't played any of the games I got, barely knew what they were, so it's good enough, I guess.

14, that's all I was able to get. I know one of them is Sonic but it just doesn't want to count it. It's that bee robot holding a blue emerald.

That's "Bejeweled".

For what it's worth until Flare told me I thought it was a Beedrill.

Yeah, I'm at 45 currently, but no Sonic anywhere. Goldeneye was hard.

I hate this thing now. I mean, some of the puns were ok, but...

Just have some patience. It's like a crossword.

I'm at 28. Two or three I got form here, so more like 25.

I know I should know some of these. That Rocket with the " ' " and the "&" over the side is going to make me kick myself in the head when I figure it out, I know it.

Okay, I'm maxed at 35.

Hint: It's not called a "rocket", per se.

Wait till you figure out #46, near the upper right corner. You haven't SEEN the punnage this thing resorts to.

Though Bee-jeweled was actually slightly worse. I have no idea what spy hunter is, never heard of it, so that was fairly impersonal.

Also, I got the rocket. Missile , &. Missile Comma&. Missile Command

You really just need to think like someone who loves horrible puns. Like Prems.

Spy Hunter was one of those awesomely hard games on the original NES.

If I remember correctly, there was some kind of PS2 or PS1 game of the same name, but that doesn't count.

Crappy remakes for the PS1 never do.

Yeah I had these spoiled in the Tron thread as well. I got about 25 before I gave up and looked up the answers. Most of the ones I didn't get were games I'd never heard of, or were just completely stupid puns that nobody would ever get, looking at YOU "Fallout".

Oh, come on. That one was a gimme.

I was able to get 42/56.

I wasn't able to figure out 5, 7, 8, 13, 15, 16, 21, 23, 25, 30, 32, 43, 44, 50.

[EDIT] Gah! Just looked up the answers and about half of those were obvious. Now I feel stupid.
