Ropes Course

Yesterday my office had a team building ropes course, and all I could think about between gasps of height induced fever was:

And thus you learn the horrible truth: Warbot in Accounting isn't about a robot, it's about all of us.

These rope courses are great fun. We've got a few around here that are integrated into forest areas. Not purely for team building exercises, although of course they'd be fools not to offer that, too.

Yeah, I now live in Virginia (moved here from Illinois). Before I came out here I had no idea there were pockets of ropes courses tucked away on the East Course. Having been born and raised in Chicago, there are none to be had (as you can imagine) aside from the indoor rock climbing places.

The one I went to had a set-up EXACTLY like the one pictured above, but it also had some jumping and swinging stuff separate in the woods. I would love to see Warbot try the 60 foot tethered jump (Which by the way is absolutely high as hell. From the ground it doesn't look like much, but looking down is quite another story).
