Pokemon Umbral Discussion 17: Renny Will Be the Antagonist In the Sequel

There. Now Geminex won't miss the new discussion thread.

Anyways, if you're craving Gardevoir, here's something...

It's a Gardevoir comic.

The translation of it isn't the best, but I still like it.

Anyways, now on to the mountain of questions you fuckers have...

-----

@ Geminex: No. No unique moves for legendaries that don't have them. I've got enough to figure out and I don't have a lot of time for even considering it.

-----

@ Geminex: Unfortunately, Kimonos and Pokebrids cannot use their special shit when they have their Pokemon out. It's for the best, actually. Lexhur is going to be really difficult to hurt at first and you'll just waste their best abilities if you use 'em now.

-----

@ Menarker: All opponents of a Pokemon with Intimidate will be affected.

Wobbuffet is almost dead. Just leave 'em be. He's taking up a slot that could have had a tough Pokemon in it.

Yes, those're all of the opponents...wait, that is twelve foes, right?

And yes, Legendaries and Pseudo-Legendaries are force deployed on the Front Lawn as well. Sorry about forgetting to mention that. When a Legendary Pokemon is defeated there, you can designate The Dark, The Light, or any four of their Pokemon as the recipient of the Testament Drive. The Testament Drive will always have the same type as the Pokemon itself.

Putting a foe to sleep doesn't make their Pokemon go rogue. Hell, if that happened, Pokemon trainers would be super insomniacs, trying to stay awake forever so their Pokemon don't go rogue and start robbing liquor stores.

Although I imagine that's what Charlotte has her Pokemon do at night anyways. "Buck! Spitz! Mommy needs her dizzy water!"

Anyways, just beward that status effects and debuffs may not work on those two assholes. They are bosses, after all.

-----

@ Dracorian: I created my own version of Time Slip.

-----

@ Dracorian: Dormond can do damage to Lexhur with Snap Trap, but won't contain him. Hell, a Wailord won't be able to contain Lexhur. But Dormond can subdue Absorbers.

Dormond still has that Belly Drum stuff.

That's a good idea for Pressure. See? We can work this shit out!

I plan of having dual-classes be accessible after Mission 4 (At the Arena).

-----

@ Dracorian: Ruin Generals are cheaters, indeed. Don't worry, Lexhur's got an assload of attacks with various attack types. Ground, fire, dark, steel, ruin...lotsa shit.

... What?

So, that's it? It just fucks up enemy Paradigm Shifts?

You suck.

Menarker 05-05-2010 12:37 AM

Aw, man, the "all pokemon are effected by Intimidate" thing is going to cause a bit of trouble, I imagine.

Also, I'll have to switch Dominic and Renny's pokemon because Dominic has Latios and Renny revived Shaymin.

Ah well. Might as well see what my new plan is going to be...

... I'm going to be the antagonist of the sequel?
I better get lots of sexy women for that. >_>

Astral Harmony 05-05-2010 12:41 AM

I'll add more to Time Slip. Don't worry about it, you won't get Dialga from Discord for a looooong ass time. Be happy when you get Enmekki during your sidequest 'cause you won't get a chance to take Dialga for a long time.

Anyways, here's an actual picture.

It's the truth, ain't it? Well, it's the truth except in Pokemon Umbral.

-----

And of course the antagonist gets lotsa bitches. He's the goddamned antagonist. What would he settle for if didn't have bitches? Sharpedos with laser beams attached to their heads?

BACK OFF, BITCH, THAT'S MINE.

Menarker 05-05-2010 02:22 AM

Well, did my post. Different from what I expected, but hoping the results are very rewarding. ^^

Don't worry about splitting stat chances with Blizzard. It already hits two Pokemon, y'know?

And here's something I think I already told you but bears repeating since I think nobody remembers: when a move is super-effective, the chance of it inflicting a given status effect is doubled. Ultra-effective moves have a quadrupled chance. This is the same for Slayer weapons.

... You've said this before?

Astral Harmony 05-05-2010 06:17 AM

Dracorian, everything I say is a lie...except that...and that...and that...

Armored Bishoujo: "Don't start."

I thought I had. There's been so many discussion threads.

Anyways, that's another looney post typed up mostly on the fly. The action on the front lawn is getting pretty intense, and I'm not even talking about the Sexy Party...

...Okay, the Sexy Party is a good chunk of it.

Geminex 05-05-2010 06:56 AM

AAARGH!
Exposition... OVERLOAD.

Ok, not really. Very interesting, though.
And, y'know, half of the questions Impact asked Mika were related to that. Did you ignore them for that reason, or did you just miss them?
