So THAT'S how it was going to be done... One of the original plans amongst the allies was we were just going to use the X-Zone Bomb to send Dante and Enerion to the X-Zone just to make sure Enerion was banished forever...
|
X-Zone wouldn't have worked against Deamon you know. Sending some one who can create his own portals to a X-plane via a portal doesn't really work.
Also, actually relating to this RP, Ogres = Bad. 100 pain free Ogres. That's like Blood Lusted Ogres, but without the power increase. And some of them are on fire, but it's not affecting them much in their Undead rage. |
i havent been able to get on today until now and i was just wondering... In the rp thread when do the archers or have they already get to attack?
|
Since no one is an archer, they haven't been mentioned much. But, out of about 2500 units, they (Plus the trenches) have killed about 1000 of the Undead. They've been shooting this entire time, and are still shooting. Especially at the Ogres now.

1. Use X-Zone Bomb on Dante, battle Demon the normal way to beat him. 2. Use the X-Zone Bomb on Demon, then try to get Enerion out of Dante somehow, or just kill them both. 3. Use the X-Zone Bomb on the Demonic Portal itself, then wait for Dante and Demon to kick each other's asses and finish off the survivor. We also where going to have an Ultima Cannon which was going to be the equivelent of the FFVII Sister Ray, or that one Super Cannon in Star Ocean: The Second Story. And the last part (And the most Dues Ex-ish of the possibilities), was in the City of the Ancients, Dezil was going to get working an ancient machine that was used to try and turn Ancients into living Gods. It was part of the downfall of the race was that when this device was used the first time, it made an earthquake that almost destroyed the capital of the Ancients. Dezil would fix it to the best of his ability, use it again on himself to become super-powerful, but then the earthquake would cause the city to finally be destroyed, leading to a narrow escape for the team. Dezil could then take on either Dante or Demon individually with his new powers, although not both at the same time... Quote:
I am imagineing the Ogres to be somewhat like the Cave Troll from LOTR, only the undead ones are covered in rotting flesh... Thus, it is going to be a hard as battle to kill them all... |
Oh, if these were Trolls, you'd all be dead.
|
hey thanks i guess i'll post now
|
Bad timing, I go sleep now.
Also, if some one does something stupid, bad things will happen. DEATH! |
Commander Barashkukor has a new quote, "Bring it on! I'll kill you in the face!"

Every time Otaku brings up his "Crap Plan", this comes to mind...
|
Then we'll just have to make sure Kyle's plan succeeds, huh?
|
You know, I haven't even read the undead attack thread yet...

Yes, I am still up. Yes, I am damning this project to hell right now. I'm gonna need some serious coffee tomarrow to keep me up... |
What in the name of fuck is going on? Will Kelen be able to act? Will his mages ever get to do something? All this and more on... Generic RP Thread 1.5... coming soon, to a PC near you...

Elminster, how long is that sword? An Orge is at least six feet wide.

|
Well it is a Greatsword.
|
Which are about 51 inches(ish). That is not enough to go through an Ogre.
|
Quite frankly, it doesn't matter how big something is if it is going fast enough. Wood splinters in a tornado can go through steel.
If you want, give me the mass of the greatsword and I'll calculate its Momentum and Kinetic Energy. |
I thought you said stabbed, not threw.
But, now you've lost that sword until the battle ends (That would not kill an Undead Ogre. Living Ogres can survive that), and why does a bard have a sword in the first place? Also, splinters can't go through steel unless it's an extremely thin sheet of steel. |
We're doing exceedingly bad...
Okay, I'm torn...do I charge the samurai over to help the breaching wall, knowing full well the ogres are likely to kill us, do I try to hold the wall, or do I desperately try to help out that other failing part? |
Protection. Generally a bard is a jack-of-all-trades. They know how to do a lot of things, but they are normally only good at things related to music.
Edit: I thought the main road was the only failing section of road. And what is going on? I thought we had Trebuchees and Catapults. |
Whoah. not many posts tonight.
|
nope
But I’ll post more tomorrow night and Friday. But tomorrow morning I’ll be totally out. |
1) No catapults. For one, there weren't any large rocks in the area (Other wise I would have pointed it out). Two, they are almost worthless since there were just going to be human zombies, the Ogres were a surpise.
2) How the hell does a catapult even just miss the walls that the Ogres are destroying and hit them? That doesn't even make sense. 3) They are destroying the wall, not climbing it. In fact, it breaks now. |
Repost: Will edit post accordingly.
Are the Samurai already to the wall, or have they not arrived yet? |

May I present a plan because what we are doing right is not working. Pull the majority of the guarding the north and south areas around to the backside of the wall to catch the ogres as they go through the wall. Also pull all the mages and archers off the wall before we lose them all and put them somewhere useful. Here I have them in the camp but I’m not attached to that idea. Please note I have only altered our troops positions not the undead’s troops or anything else. That just out of laziness. If no one wants to use this plan then please think of another but we need a plan.
Edit: Sorry bout the low, low quality |
|
So have all the normal undead been re-killed yet or are there still more?
|
Most of the normal Undead are gone, and no longer a worry.
Edit - Also, move most of the archers and mages from the south towards the north, near the Undead Ogres. |
Aliright then, time for Dart to get into the action...if he can make it in time.
|
I'm significantly farther up the wall than is shown on that map. Just a heads up.
|
Hey, IHMN...here's my plan.
|
Otaku, if I could attach it to my post, I would have played FZ's "Really Bad Plan" card a few seconds ago.
EDIT- Got it. |
Jad, two things.
1) Gato had his guy stop the 'boulder' from hitting Yama. 2) Yama could just catch the boulder thrown by the Undead Ogre that is weaker then him. And remember my hint... |
I read he knocked me out of the way, and not the boulder.
|
Oh...
That was stupid Gato. Edit - Wouldn't it have been much easier to blow a stone away over a giant Ogre? |
wait a minute...i thought yama was the crazy human wielding the giant sword?
*checks player roster* ...oh dear... |
we're on a new one now.
