SO.. 8 Bit theater 2

SO... When's or will there be a 8 Bit theater 2... Should the original guys do it or some shady fans... any suggestions anyone?

First: moved to a more appropriate subforum.

Second: I'm not a licensed Clevingerologist, but I've kind of gotten the impression that Brian would rather move on to other projects--ones that involve original characters of his own devising and/or provide cash money which he can use to buy things.

Sprite comics no longer provide the monopoly monies. Brian will most likely be continuing the trend he set out of Atomic Robo/Warbot/HIKYM and produce orginial content so he isn't open to lawsuit with every update.

All things come to an end, there are support groups if you need them.

I think 8-bit theater's ending was absolutely perfect. No need for anyone to continue it.

If fans did it it would be awful and 3/4 of all punchlines would be "Fighter likes swords" or "Red Mage is a tranny" and all those terrible ideas that people suggested over the years would be in it so my suggestion is to stay far away from it and enjoy the 1225+ pages there are.

e: and also to abandon the notion that there has to be a sequel as a matter of course and that this must be talked about not an hour after a 9 year comic ends.

We do not want this to be canon, now do we?

As far as I'm concerned, that's the only thing that's canon.

There was this and people semmed to like it, but like all fan projects I ran out of time to work on this one. Still, there is about five pages you guys might enjoy for a little bit.

Absolutely not.
8bit was great. To make a sequel would ruin it, and plus, its pretty much played out. Brian also wants to move on, which I can appreciate.

Now, a contest of one-page fan comics based on 8bit would be fun.
