Assault of the Covenant (Halo RPG)
 

Welcome to Reginus II, a world on the outer rim of UNSC controlled space.
And right next to the Covenant border.

It started six months ago, when the first of the covenant cruisers drpped out of slipspace and attacked Garrison III.
News had just barely gotten to Reginus II that a nearby world had fallen when the covenant appeared on the edge of the system.

Millions of people fled the doomed world, in all number of ships. The UNSC had dispatched an EVAC crew, and now everyone is in a panic to get away. The news of what happened at Garrison III had been terrifying, a plasma bombardment that melted the surface of the entire planet, everyone was afraid the same thing would happen here.
And the covenant were only getting closer.

But you couldn't get away.

With the entire populace of the planet in a uproar, you managed to get stuck here, and now that all but the least capable ships have left, you're all but doomed.
You saw the shadows in the sky as the cruisers prepared for their attack.

But it never came.

That's when the dropships came. Thousands of creatures piled off of the purple Y-shaped ships, and immediately began their assault on the populace.
For some reason, they hadn't glassed this planet, and now you're all stuck in the middle.
Word finally gets to you that there's a fortified bunker, where a large number of people are hiding, that hasn't been found by the covenant yet. When you get there, you find a veritable fortress waiting for you, with the last of the UNSC military directing a resistance.
Now here you all are, in the middle of the last defense of Reginus III.

What are you going to do?

(To post in this RP, all you have to do is introduce your character breifly and begin your action inside of the base. You can do whatever you want, but remember, the planet is under attack by the covenant, so be smart.)

OOC : All I have to say is that PS2 owns XBox. 'Nuff said.

OOC: I know Jeth IRL dont take offense he likes girls tho I'll give him that (He'll probably say I'm lying and confess he actually likes boys tho)

OOC : Haha... How funny. Damn lies!

Captain Chalmers was busy ordering troops around, Defending this bunker was crucial, he immeadiatly took himself and several troops to a nearby buggy and began driving towards the wave of oncoming aliens, he ordered the gunner to open fire spilling bullets all over the field, some were dead...however some weren't.. "Turn this shit around!!!" the gunner screamed. Chalmers had no argument there one quick turn and a push on the gas was all it took for the buggy to get on track, but the wave of invaders was quick aswell, the soldiers were gonna need some help from the bunker....

OOC: Finally! I was wondering when someone was going to take an interest in my RP.

Commander Wakino switched on the radio and buzzed captain chalmers: "Where the hell have you been man?! I though those damned covies had finally got you! Get your sorry ass back in here and regroup with the warthog division, I've gotten lieutennant Pascal waiting for you with three more M12's waiting to hit the battlefield with your report!" He switched off the comm and checked to make sure the pistol on his desk was loaded, for the fourth time that morning.

OOC : I have interest, just I don't want to step on my pride by appraising an over-rated XBox Game!!! Muahahhahaha!!!

OOC: Your loss. I won't hold a grudge, but you need to either join the RP, or stop just wasting space by dissing a rather good game and a good system.

OOC : I'm not dissing the game at all. I've played it and it is pretty fun... (Yet still over-rated) I will say though, I do not think XBox is up to par with PS2, even if the system is better in hardware, PS2 has better game titles and series.

I agree... mostly.
But right now they just have better games because they're not as new as box.
...And because Microsoft just hasn't gotten around to buying them out yet.
