Create a Team

4 from any videogame or 5 from any RPG
you must chose which game will serve as the combat system
you may chose to explain how converted abilities work in this system
you may state end boss if you want
Morrowind's glitches make too powerful of characters, so please not include any from it, or use its system
you give this teams orders and they obey, no unnecessary questions asked

My team 4

I don't dare try to read that jumbled mess of words and letters... care to edit it into more readable paragraphs?

Just Jon 05-13-2004 01:22 PM

See, I looked into it a bit.. Psy, if you just made a new paragraph instead of using ; every few sentences you'd be good to go...

Martyr 05-13-2004 03:17 PM

Holy Crap!

Uh, Fighter, Thief, BM, RM?

Magic E-Mail Chicken 05-13-2004 04:47 PM

Runnnnnn! Its post-zilla.

My team would be Link, Heihachi, and Spawn. I only want three. And, if it isnt obvious enough, they are all in Soul Calibur 2 form with their first weapons. But, i think i will give spawn his chains and cape abilities so he isnt so simple.
Link gets to have his bombs, bow and (magic) arrows, and boomerang as well as his shield and sword. Heihachi is just his lightning covered self.

Final boss: Nightmare with Soul Edge (Complete), and then Inferno. I like Two Part Fights. They are in a Soul Calibur 2 battle style. Yes, at the same time, somehow.

barney from barney hide and seek, mary-kate and ashley from any of the games, luigi from super mario legend of the seven stars(hehe),and.....oh i dont know,i guess ill add cloud so that there is at least somebody who can kick ass,the final boss would have to be the stay-puff marshmallow man

Battle System: FF2. Remember When you could use Ice9? Those were the days... Also, I think the item system was more intelligent. Realistically, would you carry a item box around to every battle? Instead you attached a certain amount of items on each character. Those characters could use their equipped items in battle.

Team Members: Red Mage, Setzer from FF6, Mindu From FF2, and (....Ummm... there isn't a name for him, he's from FF2, He isn't a specific class, he's my picture) Awww Screw it. Dark Fighter From FF2. So there.

MFD 05-13-2004 07:11 PM

That's Leon Heart. He was a Dark Knight. And i'm doing five characters in an RPG...

Anyways, basic ATB system, with Teching system from Chrono Trigger.
Luigi (Attack [Jump], Magic [Fire and float spells], Twin Magic [Dual Tech with Mario])
Mario (see Luigi)
Samus (Attack [Beam], Magic [Ice, Fire, Electric spells], Missile)
Link (Attack [Sword], Magic [Ice, Fire, Holy spells on Arrows; Fire, Defense, Cure and Teleport spells], Bomb)
MegaMan X (Attack [X-Buster], Blue Magic [fired from arm cannon], Cover)

Final Boss- Magus, who while crossing dimensions looking for Schala drew these five with him, and is convinced Mario knows where the princess is.

If I want to go for power:

Characters: Goku from the lastest DBZ/GT game (latest story wise, that is...)
Auron of FFX
Hiro of Lunar 2
Ronfar of Lunar 2
System: FFX.

Converted abilities work as unlockable specials on the sphere grid, and, of course, all of Goku's abilities would have to be on the sphere grid... as would his power. Allowing all those characters to reach his levels of power.

Just for fun?

Auron
Riku of KH
Ronfar of Lunar 2
And just to complete the group chemistry and add a humor function: Rikku of FFX/FFX-2

System: Lunar's.

perhaps I need to make clarifications about the rules
if your team includes even one non-RPG character than you are limited to 4 characters
if it is entirely composed of RPG characters than you may do 5
you must chose a game to serve as the combat system
end boss and how your characters abilities would work in the chosen system are optional
you are your team's boss, they obey without asking any unnecessary questions (like why)
Morrowind stuff is outlawed due to its glitches making your teams nigh invincible
examples:
4 team:
System:FFX
Leader:Samus Aran (Metroid Prime), overdrive's are the respective combos, she starts with scan, she has a special command "suit", this is where she access's her suit's abilities, starts in Wakk's territory
Dark Knight:Zero (MegaMan X 6), overdrive's function exactly like Khimari, starts with the hp/mp draining ability, Rekkoha is his first overdrive, has a special command "skills", gives him acces to his X6 weaponry (Rekkoha has been moved to overdrive though), starts in Auron's territory
Treasure Hunter:Kite (.Hack), overdrive is his data drain and its upgrades that he gets over the course of the four games he's in, else he starts off exactly like Rikku
Meat Shield: Link (WW), overdrive is the hurricane slash, master sword has innate evade & counter, triple overdrive, strength +20%, break damage limit, mirror shield has innate reflect, auto-phoenix, auto-life, auto-potion, sarts with use command, starts in Tidus's territory
End Boss:Kefka, I'm not bothering with why in an example
5 Team:
System:FFX-2
Leader:Crono (Chrono Trigger), starts with Samurai DS, special DS is Ramuh's Wrath DS
Red Mage: Serge (Chrono Cross), starts with Red Mage DS (need I explain this new one?), special DS is MasterMune DS (I will not explain this, it should be at least slightly obvious about what it does)
Black Mage: BM (FF, 8bit theatre version), Black Mage DS start, Hell Mage DS for special
Gunner:Yuna (FFX-2), need I even say anything?
White Mage: Dagger/Garnet (FF9), White Mage DS, special DS is Summoner DS
End Boss: Lavos and Seymour are back, and they want revenge
