Hadoken

I wonder...what would be the spell components for Hadoken? I mean, we know BM has spell components, and unless he just carries them around for their incredible "fragrance" he must have some purpose for them. As Hadoken is a spell which he can only use once per day, he must have a spell component that needs a day to be gathered/grow/recharged.

Of course, I might be totally wrong, and Hadoken doesn't need spell stuff.

Well, generally the rule is that a mage reads a spell from a spell book, and once that spell is cast, the words disappear from the book until the next day...

Anyways, yeah, I'm not sure if that's the case here, so why don't you try asking Brian? :p

Another thing I've been wondering latly, the fews times that I can get my brain to work properly (I'm sure it runs on like Windows ME or something...), why it is that we always hear BM talk about all these spells he knows, and how he has all teh uber powered spells, but why is it that the only spells we SEE him cast are Hadoken, Medoken, and that Lightning Death spell he used on the old geezer home?

FF1 required no spell components, or spell books. You just had to buy the spell to use it. BM probably just smokes his "spell components."

But I like the Level 9 Light spell, sometimes tradition needs to be broken.

Gerrard-That would lead to the question as to what a spell is. Though smoking them does sound like a BM thing to do.

Res-Well, if you look at it one way, those are the uber spells. BTW, Medoken was Fighter's move, not BM. His was Fighterdoken.

Maybe he's just lazy to memorize all the others.

In essence it's simple

Black mage wills the energy from him to destroy anything in his path ie Hadoken
different spells require a different energy type such as a lv 9 spell requires 9energy while a lv 6 spell like bolt2 requires 6energy a completely different type
understand? good cause if you do explain it to me......please

Actually i think he just says they are spell components but they are really not there and he uses colonge (or however you spell it)and he can only use hadoken once a day because when heuses it he gets a ton of MP off and somehow that mp will not recharge unless he waits till tomorrow. Thats all i can think about for now.

No Its a GLANDULAR thing.
BM said so.
And as white mage says:
:wmage: Im not going to touch that subtext with a ten inch pole.

Feroz's Familiar Pheldy 11-25-2003 06:46 AM

lately, :bmage: seems to use quite a lot of burn-spells

Sesshomaru 11-25-2003 05:03 PM

It's actually simpler

if you think back to ff2 you will understand
you get a certain number of spell slots per level of spell
BM only gets one lv9 slot
