Eye toy.

Anyone else have the good fortune to take a leap of faith and buy this little gem?

It is, in my estimation, quite possibly the funnest video game I have ever played. Although, I wouldn't really call it a video game. It's twelve games, but they're all more like toys than games. A few of them are like DDR for your upper body... and others are just plain fun and/or easy.

Really, I'm not sure I'd call it a game. It's a toy. A very very fun toy that costs about 45 bucks. AND, if you download the drivers, you can use it as a digi-cam for your computer, that's better quality than most 100 dollar digi-cams.

My two favorite games are rocket rumble and beat freak. Both very fun... beat freak is kinda hard and one of the DDR-ish games, while rocket rumble is just plain fun.

Well, some of the games are repetitive, but I loved it. I played it at a friend's house. They ARE releasing new games for it, just slowly.

I really liked the window-wipers game because I totally mastered it. I would crouch into a little ball, then jump while spreading my body across the whole screen to beat a window in, like, 2 seconds.

Beat freak makes your arms freakin' TIRED.

Pfft. Beat freak is nothing compared to the plate spinner and UFO juggling. Now THOSE tired out my arms. But then I kinda move my whole body for beat freak, because I just can't resist moving to that funky beat... or something. Anyway: Maybe because I'm moving more than just my arms, they don't get tired as quick or something.

Oh, and I like the Kung-foo game too. I picked up my cat and had him beat up some ninja. Twas hillarious.

Had the thing set up at a friends Christmas party and was hands down the main attraction there. Nothing really funnier than bunch of people trying to clean the screen while they are drunk off their ass....

I have it. The boxing game tires you out after a while.

Yes, yes it does. I also managed to pull a muscle playing beat freak for hours on end last night. Stupid shoulder.

A couple buddies and I played this late at night in Wal-Mart one night for about 20 minutes. Mostly just UFO Juggling. I'm considering getting it though for this summer, when those same buddies and I move into our new house. I think it might be fun, but they're not so convinced yet.

With a bunch of people it's even more fun. Just set the camera back the right distance and you can get a bunch of you on screen all at once, cheating like hell.

What in the name of hell is this Eye Toy thing?

Eye Toy is a little camera for your PS2, and there are a variety of games for it. Basically, you use your body to preform the actions on the screen for the game your playing, the camera keeps track of it all. It's hella cool and hella fun.

I wanna pick up the original Eye Toy pack (the one with Play), and also pick up Groove for it as well.
