I feel like a great, crushing weight has been lifted from my shoulders, like pure oxygen has flooded into my lungs, like the big beautiful world is stretching out before me filled with rolling green fields of sunshine and hope.

It's a list of how long it takes to get a through to a person on the customer service of different companies?

Also to avoid long waits on tech support lines try this. Usually they have a option for new users (meaning new customers) press that get a representative and ask to be patched into tech support. It gives you almost no wait time and works almost everywhere.

Wow, my company got shitty ratings there.

Professor Smarmiarty 08-25-2010 04:24 PM

Oe of those companies has an average waiting time of 504 minutes. I suspect the ratings to have considerable trolling cause that is just stupid.

Many companies use their automated answering services to make it as difficult as possible to speak to an actual person. In pursuit of that goal, they design their answering services as a maze of confusing, poorly explained and contradictory options, collecting various information which is either irrelevant OR which you will just have to repeat to the actual human being you ultimately end up talking to.

Given this, I feel that creating a database of the quickest shortcut through these deliberately obstructive systems and then making this database available to the public is an excellent use of our modern communications technologies to benefit all of society; Especially that part of society which is about ready to blow its brains out if it has to spend another half-hour of its life dealing with some godforsaken touch-tone (or worse, voice-answer) menu system just to get to the point of getting to be put on hold. The people who made it are excellent human beings, their works are good works, they are of estimable merit and wholly deserving of praise, acclaim, and regard.

I like how it has the AAA but not the AA. That seems like a fairly massive oversight to me. Also no National Rail. I guess the mass transit system of an entire country isn't considered important or something?

Also; White House and White House]Black Market? Are those what I think they are?

Obviosly I haven't been calling customer service enough.

You're welcome.

Thought everyone knew that automated answering systems were a tool of the Devil.
