Recommend me some good PS3 games.
 

I recently got a PS3 and so far I have NCAA Football 2010 and Madden 2010, which I love playing, and Eldar Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which really has not grabbed me. I am most definitely going to get Final Fantasy XIII in the near future. But the question remains, what other PS3 games should I get? Keep in mind that I am a fan of Japanese RPGs, adventure games like Castlevania, strategy RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics (God I still love that game), I might even try a FPS (though I usually suck at them), and sports games (though my football fix is probably satisfied for at least the next five years).

I will greatly appreciate any good advice I can get. Thank you. ;)

Valkyria Chronicles. As for fps, borderlands, modern warfare, orange box (unless you have it on PC).

I hear Uncharted is pretty good too.

FF13 you can skip or reproduce on the cheap by feeding dog shit into your PS3.

I would say get Uncharted 1 or 2 due to them being pretty fun, Infamous cause LIGHTNING, Disgaea 3 if you are a SRPG whore, and 3D Dot Game Heroes for some Zelda action. Maybe Resident Evil 5 if you have a friend to play it with and don't own it on the 360.

I've only played a couple of them, I can second GTA 4, but as far as your preferences I think the only one I can think of that sort of fits in is Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, which was like a beat-'em-up/Gauntlet clone but with RPG elements and Marvel superheroes in place of the Warrior or Elf.

I really didn't enjoy Uncharted at all aside from, I guess, the voice acting which was sort of alright.

Ok and FFXIII, honestly? Not that terrible. Yes the game makes a terrible impression at first and is just weirdly paced, but it is hella pretty and not that difficult.

JRPGs? There's not much on the system really. Resonance of Fate and Final Fantasy XIII are the only ones really worth talking about, unless you're into the PSO style of gameplay, in which case you might like White Knight Chronicles.

Whelp. I just traded in all those games, and Fallout 3 they wouldn't take- it apparently has $0.00 value to them. There was no point. So unfortunately, no cheapsie games from me. :(

The lack of Demon's Souls in this thread makes me a sad panda.
