Because I'm sure as hell not waiting the two weeks it'll take for Seil to post it, and because some of us bastards are still 10 years old and have to start making/planning our costumes two months in advance to make them awesome.

Last's year's Doctor Horrible costume was successful and this year I've already got a fedora and old school suit coat for my mafioso costume. Carrying around a real shotgun will probably scare people a bit, so I'm leaving all the fun toys at home and trying to find a replica.

I actually need a halloween costume. Can NPF pick one for me?

I didn't do anything last year, and the three years before that I had a pimp costume that I augmented by sewing feathery boa things onto the arms and legs.

This year I am at a loss. If I had to pick an ideal costume I'd probably do a Starcraft marine or something but I lack the time, funds, and artistic skills to create a costume that fantastic.

What should I be NPF?!

Zombie costumes, while fairly common, are easy to make. Just takes some green and brown facepaint for the rotting color, a few red splotches for your wounds, and maybe even some red kool-aid dye in a cheap shirt to make the blood from said wounds appear to run into your clothing.

A year late, yes, but I'm considering the Music Meister. I was going to last year, but stuff got in the way, and I didn't do anything for Halloween. Hopefully, this year will be different.

I would, were it not that
1) I live a small ocean away from you.
2) Pokémon plushies are more common in the US anyway.
2a) My skills with needle and thread extend only so far that I can attach buttons and crudely patch up clothes, so I couldn't exactly make you one either.
3) It's your goddamn costume!

That's cool enough to keep all year round.

I'll be dressed as Matt Smith's Doctor. I've ordered my fez and screwdriver and I have a friend willing to lend me a tweed coat. If that doesn't fit, I'll just hit up one of my town's many thrift stores.

I'm suppressing the urge to say that you don't need a costume so I can suggest a brain-busting combo.

A Ghoul mask (Fallout 3).
Alex Mercer's blade arm (Prototype).
Albert Wesker's sunglasses (Resident Evil).
"Fuzzy Lombax Ears" (Ratchet and Clank, specifically a Ratchet: Deadlocked reference).
Link's Shield to wear on your back (Legend of Zelda).
Rico's grappling hook on second arm (Just Cause).
Sonic's shoes (if you don't know the reference then you don't deserve this costume anyway).
Dave's DJ tux (Homestuck).
Bottom half of Master Chief's armor minus shoes (I can't think of a better alternative for pants right now),
And for the final piece, take some of that hard-to-see wire, stick a replica of Sparx (Spyro series) and make it look like it's hovering behind you.

Anything less than that and you might as well just stay inside and buy your own candy.
