Why are you still looking at this thread? You should be looking at the new update, the new items and punching hippies already.

o Medic achievement "Consultation" changed to 3 from 5.
o Medic achievement "Peer Review" changed to 10 from 50.
o Medic achievement "Placebo Effect" changed to 2 from from 5.
o Medic achievement "FYI I am A Medic" changed to 1 from 5.
o Medic achievement "Family Practice" changed to 5 from 10.
o Soldier achievement "Geneva Contravention" changed to 3 from 5.
o Scout achievement "Strike Zone" now counts assists.
o Scout achievements "Fall Classic" and "Foul Territory" are fixed.


Engine (CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, HL2:DM)

* Added sv_alltalk to the list of convars that are checked for the sv_tags list.
* Fixed a model instance crash.
* Removed engine ConVar "r_ForceRestore"


Other Games

* Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
o Updated to run on the Orange Box engine with CS:S, DoD:S, and TF2

Wow. That's... That's really, really nice.
The 'spend money to get an advantage' sucks a bit, but as long as you can get the stuff normally, I'm happy.

And I actually came up with the effect for Eternal Reward as well, way back, during the Spy update. Or something pretty similar. Remember discussing it somewhere...

All the stuff you can get by paying for it is obtainable as per normal ingame. Not with achievement milestones granted, but the items have crafting blueprints eg. the new rifle = Huntsman + Reclaimed Metal. Besides, exclusive items, maps, whatever as 'pay' features would stray into Korean MMO territory.

The degreaser has faster weapon switch? That... hm. Sounds interesting for using the Axtingusher.

This is amazing. Valve found a way to create DLC without pissing off the consumer base for the most part. Everywhere I look, people are saying "Since I can still obtain these items normally in-game, I'm fine with the store."

You should see the Steam forums then... incredible, incredible amounts of rage, more than I've ever seen. But since the amount of rage goes up each update anyway...

Never visit a game's official forms. WoW, TF2, anything. They are always bubbling pits of rage, from what I've seen. Other, less stupid communities are okay with the store.

Trying to trade a hat as we speak. Not going well. I think because of server congestion.

I dont like the bonus for matching set of items. Since if the new items are balanced then that means the bonus makes them unbalanced, while if they are balanced with the bonus then individually they are too weak
