I was trying to figure out all of the major weapons like the one for the medic and all. But then again we might both geek out here.

I gotta say, I hate crates. Not because you have to buy a key to open them. But because getting a crate means I didn't get something else.

Nope.

Dropped crates do not count as part of the weekly drop cap, but are instead part of a different distribution system.

The paint that drops in crates can't actually be bought. But I got a Nappers' Respite from the crate that I opened, so that made me very happy.

The Blut and Needle gun are Devastating in the right way. however Its basically a Artillery and Escape weapon as the needles have various speeds making it hard to aim correctly. But the needle gun fires one 10 damaging needle every .15 of a second. and with crits it's 30 damage. As we all know medic gets crits like mad(due to him getting credit for his partners damage and his own healing) and any medic that knows how to abuse this Will. The Blut for many people is a complete upgrade because of the healing effect. However the Increased healing regain on the original weapon is preferable to many.[/geek out]

I'm thinking more about the Vita-saw and all the community weapons that everyone got. I think he got screwed out of the deal.

Y'know, thinking about it, the battalion's back-up completely and directly counters the kritzkrieg- it makes an uber from a kritz medic completely useless! I'm surprised people aren't more up-in-arms about that, I'd have thought it should at most reduce crits to minicrits and minicrits to normal damage (then normal hits to 30% less damage, basically just taking every hit down a damage level).

Do we know if it counters the special critical hits like backstab and headshot?

Viridis 10-10-2010 06:31 AM

This counting the Kritz doesn't seem like such a big deal.

They don't mention Headshots, but we might be able to assume the same applies.

Hmph. Still haven't got my hat and pan. I see lots of people using them now...

Will trade any vintage stuff for Pyro items. Specifically melee and hat.

if you got enough vintage items to trade anything, why not just craft the pyro items?
