See I also played Yugioh cardgames on the gameboy- even more broken. You could only lay 1 monster a turn but there were tras and spells that killed 1 or more monsters and you could lay as many as you want. I had like about 6 monsters in my deck, the rest was all killing traps and spells and the computer would just get decimated every time. I eventually started using the weakest monster cards I could find just to humiliate them a bit more.
Ahh Gameboy card games, classic times.

Okay, TCG for the gameboy was the best goddamn Pokemon game, and anyone who says otherwise can climb a wall of dicks, fall off, and then drown to death in a bukkakke waterfall. Also fuck yeah Exeggutor decks and doublefuck yes for Blastoise decks. Good mother fuckin' times.

As for Yu-Gi-Oh gameboy games... well, I still play Duel Acadamy for the GBA every once in a while. Cheaper than actually collecting the cards, and more fun. Of course, I say that, but I still have a shitton of Pokemon cards...

Hell yeah, no argument. And it had the best-worst Excuse Plot ever. And it was before all these miscellaneous expansions came out. And Promo Meowth was delightfully shiny. And the game was probably singlehandedly responsible for kids thinking that Ghost was immune to Psychic, and Psychic was weak against Ghosts. And the music was great.

Yeah totally aces was that game. Music is sweet too. They should remake that for the DS.

I have absolutely no argument that TGC was amazing, I loved that game. I never actually understood how the card games worked up until I played it, either, which I count as a happy thing for learning bonuses. I'm just sad that I was never able to play it all the way through more than once, because it was so fun!

This, seriously, the game was insanely fun. And for a game released after Red & Blue, you could rematch people as many times as you wanted!. In Red & Blue you could only rematch the Elite Four so, that was amazing.
