Man, this game's script. It's like those episodes of the anime where everyone tried to stop Jessie and James from... legitly capturing pok�mon.

OK, sometimes they were utter dicks about it, like that time they sniped the Yanma this kid was after, but it was legit. With pok� balls and everything. And yet everyone tried to stop them from performing this "heinous act".

I wish. This game's older than HYYYYYYPPPPPSST-TURs, I'm afraid. I'd take them over chavs any day.

As soon as photobucket's done being stupid, I'll be uploading four new episodes, and try to have them out in the next couple days. Until then, I'm playing the game. If everything goes according to plan, Topaz will be done by December. Regardless, the return to Johto will occur January 23rd. Already got that ready to post.

You should spend hours running in circles in the ash so that you can get whatever retarded flute-equivalent the glass guy makes.

Sadly, that would make more sense than using flutes, since that would be using fumes instead of sounds to gain the desired effects on the pokemon.

You know, an underground city can't be much worse than the horribly boring town that was in the equivalent place in Ruby/Sapphire.

Having said that, it's probably going to turn out to be populated with Annoying Kids that you have to cut down to get anywhere.

I won't really have a chance to say this in the update, but the city is one of the things that bugs me about Topaz because it's really clever and shows how good the designs and whatnot could have been. But then, as soon as I think hey, maybe the game gets less shitty as it goes on, chavs everywhere.

is it just me or are the trainers starting to sound less obsessive and more unsettling

Each pokemon that appears looks like the result of eating paint and laxatives, there are no words to describe the thought process of the people that made Topaz.

Speaking of which, will you ever play any of the official Gen III games or will you just count Topaz as that (rather unfairly) and move on to a different generation?

I have difficulty believing it could be the work of more than one very dedicated but very awful person.

Did the guy who made this not even look up previous badges to see if his "clever" badge name had been used before?

It's nice to have more Asshat shenanigans :3. Which reminds me I should really get back to playing Soul Silver o_o

I'm always excited to see more of Asshat. Even if Topaz is inhabited by nothing but barf demons.
