Demon with a Glass Hand 05-24-2004 06:55 PM

What the hell!? What the hell!? What the hellhellhellhellHELL!

Adrenaline and fear pushed him forward. The entire course of events mad very little sense. Panic forced the details out of his mind, leaving him to question how the hell it was he got away. Furthermore, who were these people helping him? And why?

It was the ring, wasn't it? They all wanted the ring. That's why they were helping him ...

(OOC: Zero, feel free to kill of Bradbury in anyway, however grusome it may be, that you feel like in compensence for my muddled and daring escape. Just wait until the ring is in Gabriel's hands first ...)

Forever Zero 05-24-2004 07:02 PM

OOC: I'll keep that in mind, but I will also wait for the go ahead to do so after Gabriel gets the ring.

Jaguar 05-24-2004 08:14 PM

Could my man also attempt to kill him if he gets the chance?

Forever Zero 05-24-2004 08:17 PM

OOC: Jaguar, if you are speaking out of character, use OOC speech... And unless you are evil, that makes no sense...

OOC: Come on people, listen to the GM (Who just happens to be a mod). Now, I would do an IC post here, but I think it would be better to let RaiRai's character react to the ghost person she just saw...

OOC: OK, my guy is technically neutral and I haven't really decided which side he'll be on, though I'm thinking the good side will suffice.

Talos puts away his bow and steadily approaches the bandits, helmet masking his face and giving him a forboding image. With two blades, Talos parries the attacks of any bandit who attacks him and strikes them in a non-vital area (just to put them out of commission). His only true intent at the moment is to speak with the leading smuggler, a man his client referred to only as Grimlock, though Talos cannot ascertain whether that is his real name. His eyes darting everywhere, Talos calmly searches for the lead bandit, hoping to God that he has not made a fatal mistake.

Forever Zero 05-24-2004 09:13 PM

OOC: Does ANYONE on this board not have a 'Shoot first and ask questions later' attitutude to RPing?! Is it against all RP rules to try a peaceful approach or something?!

As a strange figure came from out of the rain, the smugglers wondered if it was one of them, reporting in. However as he got closer they knew it wasn't. Weapons were drawn and bows were strung, but Grimlock himself put up a hand to wait, not wanting the body count to be any higher then necessary. He took a step forward and said, "Whoever you are, halt. You must know that you are vastly outnumbered, and my crew has had a night of Hell and death. I would recommend you stop there, and identify yourself."

What happened here guys? I thought this roleplay had potential, but either people storm ahead without waiting for their fellow players or they change their posts and screw the rest of us up. THIS is what I'm annoyed at here at the 8bit forums. There is no time delay to allow other players to post. Most users don't think about the other users and just do whatever the hell they want to do. Maybe I need to start up lessons on paragraph roleplaying. Freeform ISN'T that difficult. Your character can be who and what you want it to be. Though you are NOT God. You do NOT have the right to twist the story however you see fit. You think about the other players and help them along too.

This story ends here until I can clean up this fucking OOC mess and until the people who actually want to play this correctly say they want to continue. Those who think this is just some free-for-all killeverythinginsight roleplay, step away. I don't need that kind of attitude in this roleplay. I don't need that kind of attitude in this FORUM.

OOC: This roleplay does have potential and I want it to keep going right.........Why do I even let myself breathe? Damn me! Damn me!

Osterbaum 05-25-2004 07:07 AM

I for one am willing to continue this the way the creator sees fit. And if we do actually continue I would like to remaind...

So let's trie to keep it to a minimum...OOC is the beginning of all evil in RPG's. We shouldn't worry too much of how others post (there are exeptions offcourse).
