What offends you?
 

It really bugs me when a comedian tells a joke about racism and someone laughs at it as if it is simply a racist joke.

I guess then actually racist jokes would also offend me, but that's more or less a given?

I'm not really dead-set on this being a ultra-serious thread though. What offends you ugly bastards?

Nothing offends me. Mere mortals are incapable of cracking through my thick skin. Oh, things annoy me, but nothing offends me.

Elitism in general tends to tick me off, depending on the kind it might be offensive.

The expressions of laziness, cowardliness and selfishness. Though I think it's more frustrating or sad than offensive.

People who type like this.

I mean, it actually takes considerably more effort to both type and read that. There's no justifiable purpose to type like that unless you're actually trying to annoy people!

What offends me?

Lots of things, but I'll stick with the most basic:

People who talk about other people behind their backs. It drives me insane.

Actually... just betrayers in general. It's rare for me to give my trust, so when it is proven to be a gross misjudgment on my part, that's a hard wound to close.

I think that it varies if this offends me or just annoys a little bit, but people who just don't seem to get that the way they live isn't the only way to live. Or to get that people are different.

It's just that kind thing that makes me some times to think that should I really keep that close contact with some of my friends. It just is that jarring, especially when it clashes with my own way of life, but it can be annoying even if it isn't directed to my life.

Not that I'm not guilty myself to that some times. But it just feels that I'm just not that extreme and I usually notice and point out my own hypocrisy. But then again we all have that cute blind area which we can't see about ourselves, so yeah. Fuck me, that fucker.

Willful ignorance and people who assume their views are the only truth, like, ever. To say those offend me may be a bit much, it annoys me a great deal.

Pretty much the only peeve I can say I have right out is when you are having a discussion with someone and they basically put their fingers in their ears and start going "LALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU LALALALALALALA."

Whether they are doing this in actuality or theoretically has been kind of hit or miss for me.

Basically what I am saying is that if you want to have a discussion with me have a discussion. It's a two way street, you have to listen to my ideas just like I listen to yours, and by the way.... telling me that I have a good counter point to what you are saying but it doesn't change anything is kinda dumb.
