Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (From the minds behind Phoenix Wright)

So Capcom put out an English demo for the game.

I'd played it before, but it was the Japanese demo, so I didn't really get to experience the writing portion of it, which is a big selling point for a game like this. I'm liking the writing so far, which comes as no surprise.

As we've seen before, the character designs are nice and pointy. Pretty, too. Really digging it. The Out of This World look is really cool. I like the way everything moves. Basically just really impressed with what they've managed to do with the DS, since the DS isn't exactly known for being pretty. So yeah, check out the demo and share your thoughts. Also talk about anything else we learn about the game as its release approaches.

"Go with the flow and leave all those pesky little details to the retail version!"

I really hope the retail is cartoon-y fun like the demo was.

That lady officer looks so similar to Yoko it hurrrrrts.

But yeah, very interested in this. Looks like fun times with interesting mechanics and good writing.

I can't tell if that's supposed to be really tiny models or if it's sprite animation that really is that smooth, but it looks fantastic.

with the art style, am I the only one reminded of Cyborg 009?

It was too jagged for me...but it did remind me of Big O

Yeah, that Demo was basically fantastic.
