Guitar Advice

Ok, well, I'm trying to get gerudo valley down on guitar, but it's batshit insane fast and I think i need to approach it with an arsenal of fingering shortcuts.

Any experienced players here?

practice. a lot. over and over, until it just... works. Thats what I do anyway.

then again, I'm a bassist and drummer

To play video game themes on guitar?

:raise:

But nah Lev what you do is you practice it slowly and work it up to tempo slowly. Play it 5 times as fast as you are capable of perfectly WITH A METRONOME, then knock it up one tick on the metronome, play it until you can play it 5 times in a row perfectly at that tempo, repeat until it's up to speed.

Just play the song.

Understood, but the way I finger it may not be the most efficient, I'm looking more for advice on how to play as you have the "home row 10 finger theory" for keyboard (and yet I still use 2 fingers to type).

if you think your fingering is the problem, just practice your scales until you have your speed up to where you want it. then you get to do funs tuff, like this

Scales, roger that.
