An odd question about calendars

Does anyone know the approximate date when calendars are marked down something like 70% in an effort to offload them? It seems to happen sometime in March but I'm not sure. I inevitably miss the day and they close up those calendar kiosks in the mall seemingly the day before I go. And I'm always like "Hmm, I would have bought that calendar."

Any tips on when calendars reach their lowest price point and should be immediately purchased?

I beleve it depends on the individual store. I've seen them go on sale in January, whereas I've seen others go in sale as far in as June. Just depends on where you go for them.

A better question: If you can go without a calendar until midway through the year, why do you need one past that point?

I'd say just get a calendar when you need it, if you can.

An even better question: are you buying calendars made out of gold? Cause I see them in mall kiosks and at wal-mart for like $10... I mean, I guess it's kind of expensive for just some glossy paper but you only go through one a year. That doesn't sound like a bad investment...

Calendars you WANT are always more expensive. Obviously there are several free ones lying around from the local grocery store and the bank that I am going to use.

Basically, I wanted A Song of Ice and Fire calendar, but they are charging quite a bit for it, 16 dollars. I saw it on Barnes and Noble for 8, though, but I'm sure there is shipping. Maybe if I stop at Barnes and Noble when I am shopping again.

Also I use a personal planner for many things as well, I am not just a calendar person. Really it is more for the aesthetic value which is why these companies can afford to charge fairly high prices for 13 sheets of glossy paper. Otherwise if it were just to obtain a calendar of any kind they would never stay in business, as calendars are either free or quite cheap if you don't really care one way or the other.

As it is for 16 dollars I could probably buy a A Song of Ice and Fire art book in hardcover, I think it was only 18 dollars, plus I could find it cheaper someplace else, this seems like more of a buy than a calendar you can only use once.

i was gonna be like, 'dude, I'll just mail you a calendar if you're hard up' or whatever, but now i see you're just being picky and cheap! For shame.

I got a calendar from the grocery store five minutes down the road by donating roughly 25 cents to charity. It has kinda glossy paper but not so it's hard to write on, 12 pages and a hole to hang it on the wall. Pretty much all you can ask for.

I'm just saying if you're going to spend 10 dollars or more on one I hope it has some significant bonus features like giving oral sex.

Apparently I am simply being an intelligent and savvy consumer in my quest for the calendar which is both cheap and gives a decent blowjob.

You're cheap and the blowjobs are terrible, you get papercuts and shit and the blood ruins the calendar.

Maybe I like it rough Nikose you ever think of that?
