Since this is just an interest thread I'll focus on the premise

For whatever personal reason the players have summoned demons to kill a dark king.

Demon contract works as follows. Despite the rumors of continual backstabbing the ritual re-writes the demons personality to be subservient to you. However beyond that they retain their own opinions and personality. They might hate you, argue with you, but ultimately they will do as you order. The terms of the contract are simple, upon summoning the demon will serve you until you are dead. The demon is then free to do as it desires for a length of time equal to its service. Its simply in their best interest to keep you alive for as long as possible.

Your character knows this and choose to bind with the demon. Maybe for revenge, maybe they view the demon as a lesser evil, maybe they just dont care what happens after they are dead, but they know when its all over there will be a demon on the loose.

Power scale of the game will start out low. No matter what you will retain a power realistic of a human, your demon however will start out simply superhumanly strong and fast but grow and advance into a truly nightmarish being. The Dark King is an example of this, his demon is how he obtained his political power and it can take out armies.

Demons do have supernatural powers, but those manifest abit later in the RP.

I'm game, though judging from how rituals and stuff are involved (why wouldn't they be?), I have a feeling I wouldn't be able to do a 8-year-old girl who summons Cerberus thing.

be hard to justify but not impossible. The Dark King summoned his demon when he was 11, course he's also a prodigy with no qualms about releasing a horrible demon on humanity. Knowledge of the ritual is very suppressed and no matter what you use your demon for you are viewed as a horrible person.

Speaking of. This will be abit different then most RPs of its type. Normally the human master is a giant glaring weak point, but in this game killing the human won't automatically end the fight. All that does is release the demon from bindings and lets him do as he wants, and as a demon what he wants is usually to kill his competition. Making this a very stupid strategy if the demon is stronger then you, because now he has no reason not focus all his attention on you.

Another note, demons will start off as imps, no glaring inhuman traits and small. Cover them up well and you can pass them off as kids. Humanoids are most common but can take any form really.
