Woman Texts, Trips into Mall Fountain, than ponders Lawsuit
 

Just so we are all clear, I am not at all empathetic or sympathetic towards this woman. I just find her pathetically stupid.

Texting + Walking + Fountain = Splash!

Now why do I find her pathetically stupid? Because first, she was texting while walking at the sametime. Second, she is now crying about how the video shouldn't of been leaked and hence, can't laugh at herself for it. Third, she's considering a lawsuit against the Mall Security for not helping her and finding out how the video got on the internet.

Apparently she could of been hit by a bus while texting! In a Mall! (Semi-quoted from her ABC Good Morning America Interview) Watch out for buses in your malls people! Oh wait...buses don't drive through malls.

You can also hear her wanting to cry some more during the interivew.

EDIT: Just learned she is the defendant in a criminal case for stealing a co-worker's credit card and charging $5,000 to it.

What a fuckin' idiot. Just watching the two videos and reading up, it's blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain that she's a would-be con-artist who wants to go back to the mid-nineties days of frivolous litigation.

"OMG! I 'fell' in water, got back up immediately and walked out, and nobody came to my aid! Boo hoo! I should be compensated!"

WTFE. If anything, she should be tossed back into jail... or at least back into the fountain one more time for good measure. It's a pity rampant stupidity isn't considered a crime.

Hey, the mall should sue her for contaminating the fountain's water. Also, the water she took out of the fountain could make someone slip, in an and actually dangerous accident.

The more I think about this the more retarded her claims are. First off How many camras does the mall have. HUNDREDS. do you think the Security can see every single one every single second? Second off I saw 2 Mall Employees watch her fall in/see her climb out. One asked if she was ok (the guard in the video knew the person and was probably tipped off to looking at the video then) and the other was the Janator that seemed to get a signal from the other person (he was nodded his head after shaking it near the end of the video)
the only irresponsible part was letting his friend put it on the net. But its definitely not the guards fault.

You guys should see what Anderson Cooper had to say on 360 about this. He put her up on his Ridiculist!

Meh. Not a fan of Anderson Cooper. His input generally has next to less-than-no-impact on how I see things. But at least we agree: she is ridiculous. It ranks right up there on my retarded-shit-list with suing McDonald's because Hot Coffee Is Hot.

The only thing that I can see coming from this is if the mall decides to put warning signs on the fountain:
"Warning. Walking while texting near fountains may make you a drippy twat who gets laughed at on Youtube."

Or because hot coffee was, with you having no reasonable expectation that it would be, scaldingly hot coffee, deliberately kept by McDonalds at a temperature so high that, within seconds, it caused third-degree burns over six percent of your body, requiring skin grafts in order to undo the damage, and you had no way to cover your medical bills but to sue.

You're missing the point, as usual. The point being that this woman has a history of attempting to find ways to acquire money/goods/services at the expense of someone else. The whole thing simply reeks of an attempt to extort money from the mall, and even if it wasn't (which I highly doubt), it's her own fault she was in the predicament in the first place.

Your "point" is ruined by the fact that you insult someone who sued for a wholly legitimate reason a stupid bitch to make it.
