honestly kind of sad I did it in terra now. Having a monster filled maze would have been awesome

You'd have to build it out of Obsidian then, Creepers would wreck it.

It's a feature. 3 dimensions and the maze is always changing.

oh yea THAT was why I didn't, thing was a nightmare to hollow out when all I had to watch for was lava pits.

By the way, my exterior wall runs right along a dungeon. can anyone think of a way to make use of it?

Just find a clear spot. The land close to spawn is largely spoken for, but just take a walk and you'll find somewhere in not too long. If you're unsure of an area, I can help you out.
