I totes want to make videos of Fifthfiend's Wild ThrillRide (with extra-thrilling lavabath) and Bitvyper and Fifthfiend's Wilderness Adventure.

We apparently now have working installations of Permissions and General which together should let me enable a few things for peopl selectively like give / warping back to spawn / setting a 'home' location that people can warp to and other things.

The time plugin is currently disabled so NIGHT WILL OCCUR however MONSTERS REMAIN OFF so ya'lls just gonna have to deal with the darkness.

EDIT: Give command is currently enabled for all users, on the assumption that people aren't going to be completely retarded about it (especially re: the TNT).

Homes CANNOT CURRENTLY BE SET because I tried to switch to a new better-sounding multiworlds plugin THAT IS APPARENTLY BROKEN.

I will probably re-add that functionality with a separate plugin though.

Looks like we are getting some kind of repeating Java error. May be related to a plugin.

I can't test it myself cause I'm at work and can only access the server/console, can't get into the game. If someone can help me test it out get ahold of me via pm, otherwise I'll work on it when I get home.

Say actually scratch that, I am just gonna swap back over to vanilla for the time being, we can work on the bukkit shit when I have time to look at it properly. Anyone who tries to sign on please IM me / post here to let me know whether it's working.

ALSO if anyone could let me know when is the earliest they started experiencing heavy lag/dropouts, that would also be helpful.

Currently back up on Bukkit server with everything working right. Don't even know what the problem was!

PLANS

- Update the Multiverse plugin, it looks like the author has made some fixes/changes
- Assuming that works right, gonna switch the server over to what will be the MOSTLY unmodded map, which will now be run off a Bukkit installation including only the Multiverse plugin so it can have an attached BRUTAL SURVIVAL map to go along with the fuzzy pink blankets for babies and friendlytimes map that we all know and love.

Mostly going nuts with give has grown old for me personally and I think it will be a good idea to intermittently switch between both modes of play to keep things fresh. (IDEALLY I would run both worlds on separate server installs / separate ports but this is not very plausible as minecraft_server loves to leak memory).

Can we keep the current map? I'm about to build a volcano with a Netherish environment inside.

+1 for keeping the current map. If we can't do the worldhopping thing (ie, we gotta switch maps once in a while) can this map at least be held in archive?

So it's clear, what I'm thinking of doing is switching off between the two gameplay modes / mapsets on an intermittent basis. There's enough interesting stuff goin' on in both... let's call them multiverses, that I'd feel pretty bad about taking either of them offline permanently! So definitely nothing is going away 4 EVERS.

I had enough of staring at cobblestone and ugly glass, and the main texture thread on minecraft forums had too generic stuff.

So now I have the Ratchet & Clank texture pack. I will never switch back again, I mean even though it's incomplete (most of the blocks and items are done, but some still need to be worked on) I love it and it gives a completely different feel to cave exploring.
