Has Burke said a single thing yet that wasn't completely batshit?

Really? I think it's pretty obvious. Given that he's pretty much immortal (although it'll soon turn out to be mostly immortal when this "The Dreadful" thing unfolds), he can threaten the loved ones of his men with impunity, and force them to do his bidding.

You'll see, once Kit manages to off him, they'll immediately run off to be with their families again.

...Well, they may or may not decide to thank Kit by filling her full of bullets first.

I just discovered that the last few pages roll together beautifully if you have Yell Dead Cell playing in the background. Burke is such an MGS2 villain.

I won't lie and tell you that Burke's use of a grenade launcher doesn't have anything to do with Metal Gear :D

I had been playing Metal Gear Solid 4 (working on getting the "Big Boss" emblem: which I managed to do) and one of my most favorite weapons is the grenade launcher you get from Raging Raven. So I was kinda partial to it and wanted to have someone use one :)

The weapon was a bit anachronistic though, so I gave it to a dwarf. Because anachronistic tech is explained by: The dwarves did it.

I'm wondering if I should make a joke about it being "I.D" tagged. So only Burke can use it. Like it's "important dwarf" tagged.

Though I'm not sure what would be funnier - if Burke claimed it was ID-tagged and then someone else used it successfully (throwing him into fits, or perhaps convincing him that the other person was, in fact, an important dwarf in disguise), or if he claimed it was ID-tagged and he was somehow RIGHT.
