Trigun is really good.

I do bad enough when it comes to ripping off things I haven't seen. How unoriginal would The Dreadful be if I actually WATCHED some of 'em!

I might try to pick up the Trigun manga sometime tho. I've been studying manga lately, in my quest to try to learn to draw faster. It would probably be useful.

It's not sufficiently similar to be a rip-off. It was just an attempt to be funny on my part.
Anyway. Fantasy/Sci-fi westerns are sufficiently rife with tropes that it's impossible to not stumble over them.

I do hope someone explains at some point why Kit isn't using that gun of hers as a weapon of first resort (even if the explanation is something as simple as "too long build up time").

I assume it's due to how plain destructive it is. It went through Burke like nothing, so if it was really a default weapon, the amount of property damage would be... well, dreadful!

But right now, it comes off as 'If I told you, you would instantly regret killing him, so I won't tell you anything.'

She is saying "You didn't need to know the source of his power to kill him, and he is not going to be less dead if you discover the source, so I'm not telling you."

Also: Kit seems...taller.
