Guest Comic #6: He wont need that stat boost in the afterlife
 

Well, BM is killing again. But he says it wasn't him. And RM is still focust on the items

I like the line work and the solid colors. The art style reminds me of VG Cats... Also like the fact this is done single panel: one picture says it all.

Oh yeah, and the wee little details like RM's gold clasp and the shiny thingies on Fighter's gloves. Whee! Metalic!

Yes, RM, go ahead and loot that corpse. It only affects your alignment if you're grave robbing... and that's only in some games anyway.

Then again, alignment doesn't seem to apply with 8-bit... cept for the Light/Dark thing... *ponders*

I love the look on fighters face...perhaps he needs a sword made of bone:o

... um... okay. Why is that funny? BM killed someone... and fighter was stupid... and thief didn't do anything... and RM was concerned with his stats. Where have we seen this before? Oh, yeah, every day.. only those times, there was another, crucial element known as _humour_.

On a brighter note, I love the art even more than yesterday's, and i disagree about the voice bubbles - I like them. Sorry about being harsh above, but the truth is when i finished reading it, i scrolled down for the next panel. The 'punch line' was sorta like a mildly amusing bit of banter, that you might find in panel 3 or 4 of a regular comic, not really that funny at all. And the BM 'not doing it' thing kinda died... it's bad when not all the themes in a one panel strip are resolved.

I sound like such a jerk. Oh well, none you know who I am anyway...

First impression, I didn't like it....maybe second impression.

I found it hard to read, and a little trite....not really all that funny. I think my favourite so far is #5, followed closely by #3.

I agree the OotS comic was very, very good. Other than that, you're entitled to your own opinion.

The only other thing I have to say is that no, BM's hat missing is not funny. What's funny is the pointlessness of the whole thing, the randomness, and the horrible art. It was a style thing, and a lot of people liked it. This was an attempt at normal humour, and it, in my eyes, failed.

And I liked the sketch drawings of this one. Gave it a strong feel

But RM seems more of a *caring* individual... unless prolonged exposure to the other guys affect him that much. Then again, being around Fighter lowered his Int, so yeah. I found that funny because it seemed so in AND out of character. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

I did back up my statement. I re-read the comic to see if I would find it funny the second time. Nope I didn't. The LW's are not doing or saying anything they haven't before, I found the speech bubbles hard to read and follow, and I dunno, I just didn't laugh. I too was left looking for a punch line.
