Rules

1. 40-card Min to 60-card Deck Max. No Side Decks.

2. Decks that are listed in the Banned or cards listed in Banned are also Banned here.

3. This is just a game and hence, no going off when a play doesn't go your way.

4. If you are unfamiliar or just starting, I wouldn't reccomend jumping into this. If you also can't be on day to day to check, same applies.

5. Posting your plays. Use the Gatherer to link us to the card you play if it's not a land. Keep the link going and try to not use Quotes button. We can look back to see how the game is going if we want. So format as follows>

Life Counter: 20

1x Forest
1x Swamp

Robin taps 1 Forest and summons Hana Kami.

(This changes if it's a spell or enchantment)

6. Phases and Steps will be done day by day posted individually. Everyone involved gets 24 hours from the post to play instants. If an Instant is played, players get 24 hours to respond. Reminder of Turn Structure for everyone.

7. When done with your round of play, you must declare it at the end of you final phase. Than we repeat Step 6 for the next player in order.

I am doing a max of 8 players for this game and you can tell I would like people to respond within a timely manner. That said, as the one opening this game, I'm first as we can't flip coins. So any who want to play, declare yourself. Also, no need to take pics of your layouts but keep them where they won't be disturbed so you can reference everything. Also, if you see where I can improve the rules, let me know!

I'm totally in. I have a few questions though:

What format? This affects things like legal cards and banned and restricted lists. Alternately, this could be just a casual game.

Any special game types? There's a ton of special multiplayer rulesets out there that are tons of fun, but the standard FFA can be pretty kickass too.

How are we going to enforce rules here. I mean, there's no way you can say I DIDN'T draw three Wrath of God's in a row.

Also (sort of related to the above), since this is an electronic format, are we limiting this to cards we own? I mean, I can't afford a playset of Jace, the Mind Sculptor, so does that mean I can't play here with a deck that has a full playset?

If we can get satisfactory decisions on these issues I think this thread has potential!

Wait, FFA? I thought this was gonna be a bunch of 1v1s for some reason. Well, that decides which deck I'll use. I'll wager everything on a longshot.

I'm just aiming for Casual with the rules above. As to your other questions.

Rules will be enforced by honor system. That and I can find out where you live. *evil smile* Just kidding. ^_^

And yeah, this is decks we own. I got my own deck ready to go.

Honor system it is then. I'll take a look through the decks i've got and see what I want to bring out.

So far got Gregness and Vauron commited I think. Anyone else? Deadline is one week for signing up or if we get 8 slots filled.

Most of my decks combo off too fast for this kind of thing...

Yeah, wait, this won't really work too well, I don't think. The problem is that every spell you cast you have to give the opponent a response time. You don't go, "Okay, I summon this, do this, end turn", you go, "Okay, I cast this. You have a chance to respond now.", for every spell and ability that you do. And you have to be able to give your opponent the whole end of turn spells thing.

Edit: Wait, 40 card min? Legal decks have to be 60. You use 40 for drafts and such.

Double edit: Not to try to shoot this down or anything. You might be able to use an online magic playing thing, and set up an NPF league.

Don't got money for the Online and this is a casual game rpgdemon so we aren't going for the rules, just for fun.
